How tall is the faucet? What is the total height from the floor with the faucet installed?
Read reviews about this sink, both good and bad. Never understood how someone can love something so much and someone else hate it so much. For me, this unit is fantastic! It looks exactly like the pictures and that, right off the bat, is a GOOD thing! There was no disappointment at all upon unwrapping each piece from the box. It was shorter than I anticipated and, though I don't remember paying attention to the dimensions, I'm sure they were listed and I just neglected to look. I built a small pedestal with two 12x12 pavers, each about an inch and three quarters thick, then covered them with the same tile that I used in the bathroom. It looks awesome!! Now that the entire unit is up 3.5 inches the short tailpipe would not work. I don't think the short tailpipe would have been long enough even if I had the unit on the floor! I went online and found a 12 inch long 1-1/4 inch wide tailpipe and it fits like a glove. The silver supply hoses are well hidden from the front view. They are visible from the side but not a distraction at all because they match the pedestal so well. The instructions for the plumbing were very clear to understand and all the plumbing hooked up very easy. The water comes out of the faucet pretty fast and splashes out the front of the bowl a little but I just turned the valves down a bit and problem solved! Very very happy with this great looking pedestal and sink!...

Needed small fixtures for modernizing small bathroom in 1920's building. This unit fit the bill. Arrived sooner than expected. Since everything included, my contractor unpacked, assembled and installed in less than an hour. Chose black glass top so supply lines would not be as obvious an a small space. Kudos to overstock for picturing supply lines on site. Unit sits atop black granite floor. WOW!!Read More

How to Install a Bathroom Sink
Replacing old bathroom sinks can give new life to your bathroom. Whether you're installing a new undermount sink, vessel sink, basin sink or a regular vanity sink, most of the steps will remain the same. If you're installing a pedestal bathroom sink, however, not all of these instructions will apply. All you need is a few tools, your new bathroom sink and a few detailed steps to replace that old sink and give your bathroom a whole new look.
How to Buy the Right Drain for Your Bathroom Sink
A new bathroom sink can completely transform and update your bathroom. Whether you choose a dramatic red vessel sink or a simple antique pedestal sink, a new bathroom sink will make a big difference in the look of your bathroom. Smaller items like the best bathroom sink drain and faucet will also make a statement. Many bathroom sinks will include parts for the sink drain, but some vessel sinks will require you to select your own drain. If you choose to purchase a bathroom sink that requires a separate drain purchase, then consider these tips to help you find the right sink drain for your bathroom.
How to Install Vessel Sinks
Style and luxury can be added to any bathroom by installing a vessel sink. Two installations are popular: You can either rest the bathroom sink directly on the countertop or cut a hole in the countertop and lower the vessel down so that the sink bowl is partially recessed. Once you've installed the countertop and sink faucet, you'll be ready to install the vessel sink itself.
Tips on Installing Pedestal Sinks
A new bathroom sink can be an elegant addition to your bathroom. Pedestal sinks are classic bath fixtures that are functional without seeming bulky and can really open up the room. With minimal tools, you can install one of these elegant bathroom fixtures yourself. Here are a few simple steps for installing pedestal sinks in your home.
How to Install a Tile Backsplash in the Bathroom
A small do-it-yourself job that can greatly improve the appearance of your bathroom is installing a tile backsplash. This could be as simple as a double row of backsplash tiles where your bathroom wall meets the vanity or countertop or an elaborate tile backsplash framing the entire area around the bathroom sink. The skills involved in laying backsplash tiles are easy to master, but even a small backsplash will require some preparation, patience and at least three separate days to complete.
Top 5 Vanity Sinks
One good way to design your bathroom is to use the bathroom vanity as the centerpiece of the entire room. As the focal point, this makes the choice of the bathroom vanity sink style and materials one that can determine the theme for your entire bath. To help you decide on a bathroom sink, consider the top five types of vanity sinks below as a starting point for designing your entire bathroom.
How to Cut a Hole in a Countertop for Your Kitchen Sink
Updating the countertop with a new kitchen sink in your kitchen can give the room some new life. Installing a new kitchen sink requires cutting a hole in the countertop and fitting the sink into position. A jigsaw is sufficient for cutting a laminate countertop, but if you own a solid-surface countertop, you will use a router to make the cuts. With a little attention to detail and safety, you can cut the hole yourself by following a few simple steps.
Matching a Vessel Sink to Your Bathroom
Part of the challenge of remodeling is blending fixtures and hardware, such as a bathroom sink, with other elements of your room decor. Unique bath fixtures, such as vessel sinks, can introduce special challenges. A vessel sink is not meant to blend into the countertop as other bathroom sinks do. It's often a focal point for the room. Below are some tips on incorporating a bathroom vessel sink into your bath decor.
