The 5 light chandelier replaced a light from 1994. It really updated the dining area without breaking my budget. It is exactly as pictured, with the bonus 6th light in the center. It is very high quality brushed nickel and the globes are very nice. It was wired to a dimmer switch and works really well. I am still searching for the 'curly' bulbs to fit it the way I want. They do fit the 'curly' bulbs, except I haven't been able to find dimmable 'curly' bulbs yet. I really like a chandelier that points the lighting down like this one (and my old one). They are hard to find. I really love it and bought it based on the other reviews.

This was my first purchase from O. The package arrived in just a regular box and not taped, so I was a little nervous that something would be missing or damaged. But, it was packaged very well and nothing was dented or missing. I think the chandelier is much richer looking in person than in the picture. I couldn't wait for my husband to get home, so decided to put it up myself (after taking the old one down). Very clear instructions (although the print is a bit tiny) and I had no problem with the installation. I used different globes (to match my island pendants), but they work very well with this light. It looks great, works great and I love it. Best feature?? it uses regular light bulbs (or florescent bulbs) so you don't have to spend a lot on special "chandelier-type" bulbs. I saved over $100 from what I was going to have spend on a special order at a local store, so I am VERY pleased with this chandelier. NOTE: This is actually a "6-light"; there are 5 "globed" lights and one center light. There is a switch to turn the globes and center, just center or just globes on. This "feature" is available on chandeliers that start at $150 to $250 in our area.

I love this product and especially the price. The chandelier added elegance to my dining area....

don't love it as i personally prefer something much more modern/contemporary but bought it because we needed an inexpensive lighting option. overall good look, gives great amount of light and you can't beat the price.

• How accurate was the on site description of the product? fairly accurate. requires 6 light bulbs because of the "bell-shaped" silver thing in the middle, even though it says 5-light.

This chandelier is even nicer looking in person; it adds sophistication to our kitchen/ding area without looking overdone; very simple clean lines and a lovely bright-toned finish. It was fairly easy to install and provides ample light for a ding area or kitchen work space. Simple and elegant. I would definately recommend this to a friend.

This is a beautiful chandelier. The "extra" light makes a significant difference. Installation was simple and it looks great in our breakfast area. The cost was significantly lower than the home improvement stores and the chandelier arrived quickly...so this was a positive experience all the way around.

I love my new chandelier. It is beautiful and well made. I hung it in my kitchen and it really brightened up the room. I can't believe I got such a fabulous light fixture for this price. Thanks Overstock.com once again

FYI --chain measures 32" so we have to buy a new chain because ceiling is so high in our kitchen. Overall very nice

used in my dinette. The quality is very good. Illuminates wonderfully. For the money I paid it was a great value.

I am working with a budget to remodel my formal dinning room. Most of my wood is dark but my walls are antique and carpet is blue. This brushed nickel 5 light chandelier fits right in and adds some elegance with out being over done. The price was great too.
