Brushed Nickel 1-light Mini Pendant

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. They arrived very quickly and my handywoman installed 2 above my kitchen island in less than an hour. These truly are MINI, so if you have a smaller space (like I do) and don't want to be overwhelmed with too big a fixture this is for you. The globes are a frosted glass and a mere 4 1/2 inches in diameter. However, they can still accomodate a 60w bulb (G 16.5 with the small base). I also switched them to a dimmer switch.... the glow they cast is very beautiful.And while it is true the rod does not extend all the way to the ceiling, in my opinion it is more than enough with the cords being the same brushed metal gray, it really doesn't detract from the look at all. If you click on the picture and make it larger you will have a better idea. It's a great & inexpensive way to instantly update the look of your room.

I bought 3 of these pendants for over my kitchen counter. They look great. It is exactly what I needed for the decor. The one draw back is that they hang by a gray cable. In the picture it appears that this cable is covered by brushed nickel metal, it's not. I want to find a rod to thread into the cable to give it a more modern look versus an industrial look. I had an electrician wire them in, and it took him about 1 hour to finish the whole project including trips to the attic. Even if I don't find a metal piece to cover the cable, I would still recommend this fixture. great value

Overall I am pleased with this light that now hangs above my kitchen sink. However, I didn't know that it would be hanging from a gray cord and not a metal rod (from the picture it looks like there is a metal rod covering the cord, but there is not). After a few days the cord straightened out compeltely and you don't notice the cord at all. It still looks really nice and now I don't even notice the cord because it blends so well. I think if I had paid more that I would have returned the light and gotten something else, but now am glad that I kept it. On the whole, though, I do like it and am happy.

I ordered 3 of these pendants to hang over a kitchen island. The size and simplicity work well for the situation. The quality is good. The only criticism I would have; I would have preferred a metal rod extending the length of the cord. The rod itself is about 6 inches long, then the remaining extension to the ceiling is a gray cord. I may rewire it through a stainless rod when installing. The weight of the fixture may make the cord hang straight but it's the over-all look I want with the metal rod. Personal taste. I like the quality and weight of the fixtures and would recommend it's purchase.
