I couldn't be happier with this purchase. They arrived very quickly and my handywoman installed 2 above my kitchen island in less than an hour. These truly are MINI, so if you have a smaller space (like I do) and don't want to be overwhelmed with too big a fixture this is for you. The globes are a frosted glass and a mere 4 1/2 inches in diameter. However, they can still accomodate a 60w bulb (G 16.5 with the small base). I also switched them to a dimmer switch.... the glow they cast is very beautiful.And while it is true the rod does not extend all the way to the ceiling, in my opinion it is more than enough with the cords being the same brushed metal gray, it really doesn't detract from the look at all. If you click on the picture and make it larger you will have a better idea. It's a great & inexpensive way to instantly update the look of your room.

I ordered 3 of these pendants to hang over a kitchen island. The size and simplicity work well for the situation. The quality is good. The only criticism I would have; I would have preferred a metal rod extending the length of the cord. The rod itself is about 6 inches long, then the remaining extension to the ceiling is a gray cord. I may rewire it through a stainless rod when installing. The weight of the fixture may make the cord hang straight but it's the over-all look I want with the metal rod. Personal taste. I like the quality and weight of the fixtures and would recommend it's purchase.

This pendant would be nicer if it came with a braided metal over cord like some other pendants do and I would be willing to pay a little more for it if it did. (From an architect's standpoint, all pendants with brushed metal finishes should come with the braided metal over the cord. That should be a given but for some reason it's hard to find. The fixture is good quality relative to price so I'm calling it a "Good Buy".

These are a beautiful fit for a bathroom that we did not want to undergo a major renovation (removing the mint green 1950s tile and old stainless fan). We were able to use the lights with an updated shower curtain to tie in a retro feel and keep the bathroom renovation from getting too expensive while still looking great!

Simple inexpensive fixture. Just fine for over the sink. Can't beat the price.

I like the look of these lights. The cord thing doesn't bother me, it looks fine, kind of industrial which I like. I have two complaints, though: I ordered two lights, and on both of them, the piece that you screw the bulb into was bent, at an angle to the rest of the fixture. On one I was able to bend it back straight, on the other, it's still at a slight angle so the bulb is slightly askew. The other issue is with hanging them to the same length: you're supposed to knot the cord above the ceiling piece to the desired length. It's very difficult to get two lights to the exact same length which such a rough system. It would be better if it had some kind of clip that you could measure exactly to.

bought 4 of these pendants to go over island in kitchen. Love the look. the only thing is the wire it hangs from took a little time to straighten out after. There is nothing that covers it..

These are simple lights that look good and that is all I was looking for. I had the kitchen relocated and re-done. There is so much look at in the new kitchen - granite counter tops, glass cabinets etc that I thought putting in something more would just be too much. And to be honest I thought if these didn't work out I wouldn't be out much.

I purchased these to hang over our new granite breakfast bar. They look great, very transitional in appearance. They look great with all my stainless appliances and also with the antiques scattered throughout. The short metal tube was a perfect drop for the bar. Overstock is my favorite place to check for quality bargains!

I got 2 of these for my kitchen. They arrived in poor packaging and as a result, one of the glass shades was slightly chipped. You can always find better products with a price premium but for the price I paid, I am happy with these pendant lights in terms of quality and appearance.
