First, this chair probably deserves 4 stars--I'm going to dwell a bit on the negatives since there are so many positives. We ordered two and these are first impressions.
One quick note: The dimension stated for width is incorrect. The chair measures 25.5 inches across the arms at the widest point; the frame is 23 inches and the front of the seat 22 inches across. The other dimensions are correct. The seat height is about 18.5 inches at the highest point and the seat depth is almost 21 inches. They are made by Winmark (Sofa) Manufacturing Co. in DONG GUAN CITY, China.
One arrived with ottoman legs poking through the box--amazingly, no damage.
The wood finish leaves a bit to be desired. There are black marks (lines) from misapplied stain across the arms and sides of the wood frame on both chairs. There are small holes across one arm of each chair, like a small punch might make. They still look nice, just imperfect. They also don't sit quite level, one more than the other, which is only noticable when there is no weight on the chair--but as the plastic feet aren't quite nailed flush, that might take care of it.
They are comfortable enough, but comfort is pretty subjective. The seat is a little deep for a smaller person and the head rest is a little short for a taller person. Four of us have tried them out, and all of us have gotten comfortable with a pillow or two (height range 5'4 - 5'11). They lack lumbar support, which is pretty much as expected. One is a little more comfortable than the other, owing to small variations in the fit of the leather--one chair back is a little more taught than the other, one seat slightly less firm, making a difference that can be felt but can't be seen or easily quantified. I've lounged in one for an hour or two and was able to get comfy.
Bottom line: both my wife and I like them and they will stay in our living room. The quality is as good or better than expected for the price. They seem solidly made and are handsome. Wasn't sure about bi-cast leather, but I like it just fine--not as soft and supple as our leather couch, but seems more practical and still looks and feels like leather. No smell at all from these chairs, and no assembly required. Shipping was just a few days, regular UPS. My wife, especially, is not easy to please--she wants beauty and comfort, and these fit the bill, and look like they will last for many years.
