This sounded like a novelty, and I needed a standout piece, but it would only be good for wall hanging. I am continually picking up pieces of leather and I'm sure it will be bare any day. Will only stand up for viewing, not traffic.

Bought this for my entryway - I've had every comment from "interesting rug"( the older, 65+ relatives), to "wow, cool rug", " I love this rug!" My little nephew thought I brought a pile of leaves in the house and tossed them on the floor???? I like the rug. It's a different look, but goes well with the rest of my house. People always say that I know how to decorate and they love my taste. I'll take that!

Was not sure about ordering online, I had never order from Overstock.com. I had been wanting a Leather Shag Rug for quite some time. When I saw it and read reviews I couldn't make my mind up. I was nervous because some reviews said it would shed and smelled. I ordered it and omgosh, I love it and it looks so good. The smell isn't bad. I never buy anything if I don't LOVE it and I love it. The colors are just what they show. The size might not be exact but the beauty of the rug makes up for that. Love it, Love it, Love it and so will you. I wish I could post picture!

I thought this would be a cool rug, but the leather peices started falling off immediately, so I was always finding them on the floor nearby. I rolled it up and was going to take it to my office but then I realized it was a losing battle and I just put it out on the street. I gave it 2 stars because it does look kinda nice, it's just not practical unless you use it somewhere that gets little to no traffic.

I love the way this rug looks and feels. It will definitely add a more contemporary touch to my new house. The leathers are varied in color, adding to the texture and interest. I occasionally find bits of it, so it sheds a little at first.

Exactly what I expected. The colors match exactly as shown online. Matches perfectly with my modern and chic living room set. Overstock has not disappointed me yet! The only negative is that delivery took a lil longer than usual not like overstock at all. I'll blame it on the Easter holiday

This rug looks great. I have it in a contemporary bedroom and it looks great. The room smells of leather which is kind of sexy. The colors are well displayed in the picture. I would recommend this rug to anybody and in fact a friend decided to look at these after she saw mine. It is well made very interesting. The price from Overstock is always great and I can't wait to shop for more rugs from Overstock.

Looks great. I was hesitant to purchase as I thought it might really smell too "leathery" - it did not at all. I don't know how easy it will be to clean, but it is a really fun accent rug, especially with a hill country theme.

I loved it. It is in my living room and it totally gives the room a chick look. color look just as shown. Very nice piece at a wow price.

the rug looks a lot better on line. there's bald spots in the rug where you can see through. . . I think they probably should have doubles the amount of leather strands to the rug. I was taking the rug out of my trunk and a few strands fell out =(
