Brown Leather Bar Stools (Set of 2)

These chairs work well for our bar height dining table. They get minimal use by two adults so I am hoping they hold up well. The clean lines were just what I was looking for and they are comfortable as well as sturdy. I would have ranked these a five except for the slight gaps between the leg joints and foot rails.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Quality is pretty good but I am picky about the joints being perfectly flush with no gaps. These don't go together perfectly but they are sturdy.

We put these bar stools together last night. Though the directions are NOT so good, the bar stools are very nice. We intend to order more. They were also really well packaged and arrived quickly. Be careful when assembling to check that the side rails are correct. The directions do not specify, but there is a "front" and "back" to the rails - it is easy not to notice (the difference between front and back is sublte) until you are on the last step. It is necessary to take the entire chair apart to correct this.

Really great stools. They get softer with wear and really create a focal point in the kitchen. Follow the assembly instructions and don't fully tighten the screws holding the seat onto the legs until AFTER you've inserted the small bars that give the stools their stability, just have them barely screwed onto the thread and this will give you the "wiggle" room you need to get the bars in place. Solid construction and great value for money!

One of the chairs is a bit wobbly (one leg appears to be shorter) until someone sits on it, then it's fine. I loosened and tried to readjust the front legs but didn't fix the problem. It's only when the chair stands. Also, the hardware had 1 fewer bolt, but O's customer care was superb. I receive a box with all the bolts within 1 week from the factory. I like the feel and the construction of these chairs. Good quality minus the small problem, but I think I had to mention it. Also, the instructions are not accurate. However, it was easy putting the chair together. The diagrams are wrong and nor accurate. Use your common sense.
