Quality not there for the price. Had to buy hinges for the doors. Using the hardware provided--the doors only open a few inches.

This tv stand/console is very attractive for the price. works very well in a small area, where other consoles would be too big. Love the two glass doors b/c it will limit dust. Also the doors are great if you need to keep little hands off the equipment. the one downside to this stand is the very cheap-looking door handles. in the pic they look like brushed steel, but when you get them they look like silver plastic. can probably be replaced, though I haven't tried to replace them yet. Still, for less than $200 it is a good buy. Saw the same exact one on target.com for $240.

The stand looks nice but is not wide enough inside to put in my dish box. Had to cut out the back to make it fit. I was not happy with this. They should have made it 3 inches bigger. The stand looks nice in my living room and it puts the t.v. up where I want it. It was not that great to put together. I had my son do it and it took him at least an hour. You have to glue all the pegs together. As far as the price, it was not bad for what I have looked at around here.

We use this unit to house our video components while our tv is hung on the wall. Not sure how sturdy this stand is as it is made of veneered MDF, but my husband put it together in about an hour and said that it was cheaply made. With that said, it looks nice and as long as it is not going to be scruffed or bumped into, it makes a great entertainment center. FYI - We did have to cut some holes in the back to filter more air as the blue ray player started to overheat one night!

the 44 inch wood console was a great purchase & a great value. i shopped 20 diferent stores & found that they didn't carry what i was looking for at the price i wanted to spend. the item arrived in a box that was designed to protect the pieces & the instructions were easy to follow when assembling. the look & the quality of the console did not disappoint me

Star rating is its utility to me. Had no idea that TV consoles were manufactured which do NOT accommodate the most standard-sized DVD players and etc. Keep the depth of this unit in mind when ordering, cuz it is VERY shallow. I need to saw out the back to allow cables to stick out, which defeats the purpose of having a closed unit to protect equipment from dust.As for the looks, it does look like a particle-board furniture. And the doors don't align properly once a TV sits on top of the unit, which I suppose is always a consideration when purchasing an assemble-it-yourself piece.

This is very nice looking t.v. stand. The only problem that we experienced was that there is only one small hole in the back for cords. The hole is located in the middle of the top shelf. We had to cut out rectangular sections out of the back panel in order for our tivo, dvd player etc to fit inside with the doors closed.

I really liked the TV console, I wanted the glass doors to keep dust out. However it was smaller than I expected. Not deep enough to hold our component parts so we had to cut holes in the back. It looks nice and not too hard to assemble. Very sturdy for our heavy TV.

This is a great table for the price. Its a great looking table stand. I would definetly recommend. I will definetely buy again from OVERSTOCK!!!

the difference between brown and black! otherwise you will be dragging 50lbs of weight to your nearest ups at a total inconvienece to yourself . i offered to keep it for a discount but they offered my a lousy 10 bucks i wonder how much the shipping and hastle cost them in total?

The product literature states that it can hold up to a 52 inch flat panel tv, THAT IS WRONG! We have a 50 inch tv and when we put it on the top of the console it began to bow almost immediately. Rather than take it all apart and try to sent it back, my husband decided to build an additional bracing system for it.This is not designed for a large tv...BUYER BEWARE!

Good value for the money. We needed a TV stand to fit into a small alcove, and there were very few choices that fit our measurements. This one did. It has clean, simple lines. We had a handyman assemble it for us, but it did not take him much time. It is exactly what we needed. The color is a nice, chocolate brown. We like it, but it may be slightly darker than the photo.

I was a little hesitant to buy furniture online without seeing the item in person, but once I received this item all my worries were put to rest. This stand is absolutely gorgeous!!The quality of the stand far surpasses my expectations for a ready-to-assemble piece of furniture. Everyone who has seen my new stand comments on how nice it looks!!The instructions were simple and easy to follow. I'd recommend this stand to anyone!
