I have been looking for a desk like this for almost a year! I was a little leary about receiving this desk in 3 pieces, but had all my tools ready. The desk arrived quicker than expected. It is beautiful to say the least! And no tools required...everything needed to put the desk together was enclosed in shipment. It took less than 30 minutes to assemble. The online picture does not do it any justice. Each side piece has 2 small pull out drawers on top of a nice-sized drawer for hanging files. There is also a very nice-sized middle drawer. Also, there is a built-in blotter on top and connection holes (4) for computer wires. It is beautiful! I am so glad I purchased this desk!

The desk is beautiful! The color is redder, than what it appears in the photo, but it worked perfectly with our existing cherry cabinetry. The match was perfect! The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the desk does not have a place for a computer hard drive. The opening for leg space is also a little narrow, so it is a small challenge to fit the tower somewhere. but we love the desk. It is a great buy!

The desk arrived promptly. It comes in 3 pieces so it is easy to put into any room. I found that the bolt holes dont seem to line up if you tighten each of them down immediately during assembly. If you leave them loose you can get everything to line up before tightening. The desk sits lower than I am accustomed to so I had to lower my chair substantially. It also has a vinyl top which is not really utilitarian. I spent another $100 having a piece of glass cut to the correct dimesions to serve as a hard desktop. For the price, it looks great and its hard to beat however.

Beautiful desk; fast delivery; easy to assemble. The top of the desk didn't have holes that lined up with the drawers underneath it, but the top is heavy enough to just rest on top and not slide around.

This desk is beautiful, but not without it's share of complications. First of all, a stripped screw that was loose would not allow one of the drawers to slide the whole way out. After about an hour in which we disassembled the whole drawer and put it back together, twice, it now slides gracefully. Thank goodness my husband is patient about such things. Secondly, several of the holes in which to attach the top to the base did not line up. It felt secure with the ones that did match, so rather that drill new holes, we just used the few that lined up, and skipped the ones that didn't. It seemed like overkill to attach in so many places anyway, and it really is sturdy with just three bolts in each side. Finally, as mentioned in another review, there are small pinholes in the wood. It looks as though some wormy cherry was used. They're barely noticeable and I think they give character, but other people may be particular about them. All in all, we love this desk. We also bought the matching computer credenza and hutch, and the revolving side table. They are each very classy, sophisticated pieces, that certainly make our office a space of granduer, at a fraction of furniture store prices.
