This rug is a very nice quality and the size is great! The problem is that the colors are not nearly as muted as in the picture and they are more orange, rust, and caramel then they are beige, brown, and taupe. The stripes and colors are too similar to the medium wood floor beneath the rug so it really adds nothing to the room. The rug looks like it belongs in the 70s or in a rustic cabin. I use it in a open space by a sliding door that my german shepards go in and out of alot. They also lounge there alot looking out at the yard. It doesn't show their fur or if they track in any dirt or have wet paws, so that is a plus. I have had a couple weeks to get used to it and the color just doesn't work for me. Ultimately, I will replace this rug as I am just not happy with the retro orange look. It would be great if it was more the color family it seemed to be in the picture and description..

It is more vibrant than the picture on the screen and has more stripes. It is of a nice quality, sheds a little to begin with. The size is nice.

I was expecting rich chocolate browns and golds, so I was a little dissappointed by the cooler tones and a light beige/ off-white instead of what looked like gold. However, the rug is very soft, and hasn't produced the fuzz balls and lint that I was sure I would get from a rug in this price range. I'm still keeping it to go with my chocolate brown leather sofa, I'll just need a brighter accent piece than I expected.
