Purrrfect
This storage bench was the color and design as expected from both the written description and product picture. Sturdy enough for my large husband to sit upon to tie his shoe, roomy enough to store pillows and linens. Price was excellent, especially for the quality. Fits very well at the foot of a king-size bed. In other words, Overstock.com did it again with just what was wanted at an excellent value.

Not exactly as pictured
The color pictured was rather iffy and I went with the idea that it would be a cream color - it is, perhaps closer to Ivory. The grommet detailing which I liked a lot is not at all on this ottoman. Also, I don't like that the hinges are exposed so obviously. I did give it 3 stars and would recommend to a friend, or person, based on the sturdy construction, thick fabric and the lid of the ottoman remaining securely in place while open. I also thought there would be button detailing where the tufts are, there isn't - just pulled in and sewn fabric. I might add buttons myself to make it look a little more sophisticated. Way too much of a pain to return it, but then again, you should be prepared and accepting of returning something like this just in case it simply doesn't work or is not as accurate as the photo and description.

Not recommended
VERY disappointed in this product as it's completely different from what's pictured. The photo makes it look like it's grey (the "black, white" color description would have been a tweedy grey, I thought). Additionally, there's no nailhead trim on the bench I received, one of the main reasons I chose this particular product. Too difficult and large to return, but I'm very disappointed un the misrepresentation of this item, and won't be purchasing any furnishings from Overstock in the future as a result.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Not at all - the photo looks like the fabric has a grey tone. in reality this bench is off white or cream colored.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Seems average for the price.
