I have had this for a year, no rust, believe me this is very heavy. Will hold a 9 foot umbrella with no problem.

This is my 2nd purchase of a 55lb stand. It holds up to windy conditions. I recommend this because you never know when nature blows!

I would definitely recommend this stand . It's very sturdy, and although we have some strong winds here in Texas, does not move an inch! It looks good, too.

we get a lot of wind on the coast and needed something heavier that would stand up to the wind. this is it. It rolls on its side to move it cause I can't pick it up. If you are looking for solid...you found it :)

I would recommend this stand to anyone who needs their umbrella to stay put. Although heavy, there are instructions that direct one to roll, not lift, the stand into place. So far the umbrella has stayed in the stand and the wind is unable to lift the round stand up.

This stand is beautiful! I have looked at so many and this is great in price, style and weight. We own a very heavy large rectangular umbrella from a mall/catalog store that needed a heavy stand to hold it up near our outdoor bar. This was a perfect choice. The only problem was that the package was missing a very large bolt that needed to be bought from a specialty hardware store.

This stand is awesome for stand along umbrellas. the weight is perfect. there is kind-of a goldish tent to the color which at first i wasn't crazy about but it blended in great with the furniture and flagstone patio.

Our last umbrella stand totally sucked, and our 9 ft umbrella kept getting knocked over despite the bricks we had stacked on the base. This base is so awesome! The little adjustable collar inside made our umbrella fit perfectly, and the base is very heavy. It's really nice-looking, to boot, and matched our dark bronze umbrella pole perfectly.

I love this umbrella stand. It looks beautiful with its woven bronze finish with my rattan patio furniture. It also is heavy enough to withstand the wind - no more picking up the umbrella after the wind picks up. I recommend this umbrella stand to anyone who's looking for a functional stand that will also be a beautiful asset to their patio furniture.

We bought this stand for the 11' umbrella we purchased at the same time. It has worked perfectly. Holds the umbrella, even in moderately windy conditions. It looks just like the pictures and fits in well. It did take us a little time to figure out the plastic collar at the opening of the neck. It's actually two collars nested together. Removing the inner collar from the outer collar makes the opening large enough to accomodate slightly larger umbrella poles.

Having purchased many umbrella stands this is by far the best! None of the others would sustain any wind! this heavy duty guy really holds up! The base is too wide to fit under my bistro table , so for now it stands next to the area until I get a larger table.

This is very heavy and has stood up already in a high wind situaion. It is also extremly attractive. I checked around and for a good one that looks good too this is very reasonable.

I compared many umbrella stands before purchasing this from Overstock which paid off. The stand is atrractive, sturdy, and a great product for the price. Overstock rocks.

I think it is outrageous to have to pay almost $****to be able to hold a $100 patio umbrella upright. But that is beside the point. Aside from the price I am happy with my purchase. It works well and hasn't tipped over once but I do try to remember to put the umbrella down in very windy weather. The only real issue I had was that my umbrella pole was too large for the adapter that was included with the stand and too small to fit tightly in the base without an adapter. My solution cost me $1.99 at ***** for a piece of PVC pipe that I cut to fit inside the base. I used black spray paint to make the cut end of the PVC match as well as I could to the the bronze stand. Unless you knew what you were looking for you would never notice the PVC. This solved the problem and the umbrella now fits tightly in the base and stands upright.
