Broan Evolution 2 Series 30-inch Black Under-cabinet Range Hood

We did a ton of research on hoods before buying Broan and Overstock had the way best price and delivery. We got is in a few days after order and it was in perfect condition. Only installed for 2 weeks so far, but it is very nice. Super quiet, moves lots of air and the 4 lights are the greatest ever. Now we can see when we cook. Only issue is installation. They do not provide a drilling template, so measure 3 or 4 times before drilling holes to hang it. Our cabinets have a 1-1/8" overhang, so I had to make filler boards by gluing plywood together, mounted that to the cabinet and then hung the hood on those. They provide a 1/2 screw to hang the hood with which I find a bit weak and if you are going into the particle board of a cabinet bottom, I would like a more substantial connection. You will need an electrician (or the skill set yourself) to wire the hood in. Still only took me 2 hours to install (including building the filler boards), plus electrical time (10 minutes because we already had power to the area).
