The cabinet was tricky to put together but looks great. I like the lock feature. My daughter is a cosmotologist and is using it to store her hair color boxes. My only complaint is that is won't stay closed unless you lock it. It needs some magnets or something to keep it closed when it is not locked. I have looked at it and they will have to be small and I am not sure where to mount. Anyway it is a nice looking cabinet for the money.Read More
Obvious design decisions on this product make no sense. The latch that is intended to keep the left door from swinging open hits into the CD cases when they are loaded into the top shelf. Removing this latch makes the door just swing open at random. I am baffled that a product design to store cds would have such an obvious design flaw. Not worth the overpriced MSRP.Read More
The holes in which the hardware fits had to be drilled in order to widen them enough to accommodate the hardware. Also, there was no labeling of the pieces (e.g., a sticker denoting pice "A"), and the directions were awkward. In sum, a poorly constructed unit. Buy only if you are a master carpenter, and even then, you're wasting your time and money.Read More
Came a little beat up, but the manufacturer provides a pen for touch ups if that is any indication of how easily this gets damaged. Holds allot of DVDs and blurays. Top shelf I would leave empty, if you fill it up on the left side, it blocks the door lock in the back and the door does not keep closed. Looks decent, takes about 3hours to clean and assembly and adjust.Read More

I actually thought this item was much taller, but it is shorter than I anticiapted. But, no worries, I have plenty of room for all of my DVD's, CD's! I have more room than I antiicipated. Wow! Great Buy!Read More
The instructions were not good, none of the many parts were labeled (the pictures were also misleading, and I still don't understand why the ones with hinge holes had eight holes instead of the four required), and in only a few instances was an indication given as to which side (finished or not) should go which way. Since they're essentially rectangular boxes, I don't see why we had to put them together, a difficult task for a 45-year old and 66-year-old. So far we've only gotten two of them put together and are both dreading the third one.Read More

Best Ways to Use Paper Shredders
If you're concerned about protecting your personal information and sensitive documents, a paper shredder is an important tool for properly destroying documents. Paper shredders are made with multiple security features. Some shredders cut items into long strips, while cross-cut paper shredders go even further and shred documents into small diamond-shaped pieces. Here are some of the best ways to use a paper shredder to protect your identity and sensitive information. Shred paper documents. Shredding documents containing personal identification reduces the chance of someone obtaining personal information such as your social security number, address, birth date and phone number. Medium-sensitivity documents containing addresses and phone numbers can safely be disposed of with a normal cross-cut or thin strip paper shredder. For more private information and confidential documents, shredders that are medium or high security are the safest selection. These high-end paper shredders cut paper into even smaller pieces. Dispose of media. Some paper shredders are durable enough to destroy CDs and DVDs. As modern life becomes increasingly digital, more and more sensitive information is stored electronically. To protect this data, the right paper shredders reduce CDs and DVDs into jagged shards of plastic, making it impossible for anyone to retrieve sensitive data. Light-duty paper shredders won't shred plastic, but shredders that are medium to heavy duty are capable of shredding CDs and DVDs as well as paper. Destroy old credit cards. Simply breaking an old credit card in half or cutting it up by hand isn't really a safe way to dispose of these easily compromised items. To be sure your credit information is safe, run old or non-used cards through a medium to heavy-duty paper shredder. View All Paper Shredders Back to Guides Directory View All Paper Shredders

Certain office electronics are simply indispensible. Paper shredders in particular are an important part of office information security. Shredders protect the security of sensitive information and help with the disposal of documents and storage media. Anyone can select the office shredder that is best for their situation, but before you choose, take a few minutes to determine what your needs are.
