the clock looks as good as those costing much more. Keeps very good time. Easy to put together. Wish the charms were a little louder and had a night time shut off, but still I am happy with it, and for the money think it is well worth it

I was a bit skeptical of the dimensions, since not every thing arives the size they say it is. It showed up in a box smaller than I had imagined, but once you get it out and put it together (yes, there's assembly required) it's exactly what I had pictured. Nothing was scratched or dented, the glass survived the trip too. The weigts are decorative, but the pendulum works. The face of the clock is really thin and winding it is kind of scary, since they warn you to not over do it. The instructions were obviously written by someone who doesn't know English. Overall, I am very satisfied with it. The only thing is, I checked the box to have it shipped as a gift and it showed up, not only with a description on the side, but a picture too.

Recieved damaged , although a little wood glue fixed the issue. No instructions were included but it was relatively easy to put together by looking at a picture. Writin all over the box was a warning and complaint info about formelgehyde , kinda scary. It is an OK clock for the price but I was unimpressed by the quality and I wasn't expecting much there.

For the price, the look is right. Can be admired from afar and adds a sophisticated touch to a room. Quiet gong, gong also runs down and does not have to be reactivated to keep time. Minor adjustments needed as weather changes, no more than most grandfather clocks. Overall awesome buy!

I bought this grandfather clock for the entry way to my home. I wasn't expecting anything stellar for this price point. I unpacked the clock and assembled it in <15 minutes. I put it in the entry way and it looks perfect. Now granted, if you get up real close, the hardware is somewhat cheap looking. I expected that for this price point. If you are looking for heirloom quality- go spend 1k+. I felt it was money well spent for what I was looking for.

Beautiful! Huge and arrived in excellent condition. Great buy, only I'm still wondering what tree Asian hardwood is. Can't beat the price and this clock is definately intimidating lol. If you live on a budget, but want a great looking clock, I would definately recommend this one. You won't be dissapointed! All I could do while opening the box and taking out the layers (pieces) and then coming to the clock top (face) is go oooooh, ooooh, lol. One thought...have help when you're putting it together.
