Black Headboard with No Assembly Instructions
This item was what I expected. Nothing fancy but useful for a student roommate who needs the extra shelf space for books. Actually, it's more of a bookcase than a headboard. Unfortunately, it came with absolutely NO assembly instructions. If not for my engineering-minded daughter, I never would have figured out how to put it together! I'm still not sure where to use the L brackets. Otherwise, it looks good in the room.

looks great
very hard to put together on your own because it is so big, but once assembled it looks great, having shelfs behind your bed is really nice. its a little shakey but looks great

Good value
Good value, you get what you pay for. Looks very nice especially with a matching dresser and nightstand. The center shelf for it did not fit and I had to shave 1/4 off of it to make it fit, other than that it's great.

Queen bookcase headboard
Unlike most furniture that I have put together this came with no identifying marks or numbers on the pieces (A,B,C, etc...) so I had to figure out which piece by the picture. Not difficult, but inconvenient. Also, there are no screw holes to attach a bed frame so we had to create our own - had to make a Lowe's run for the right length screws. We opted to not nail the back piece on the shelves - works just fine. Finished product looks nice - perfect for child's room or guestroom.

Pretty Good, But Not Fancy
This is a great piece of furniture for your first apartment. A spot nicer then college furniture, but certainly not something that you would want to be in a master bedroom. When my fiancee and I leave this apartment after getting married, this bed will be going in the guest bedroom, but it is just not good enough for our Master suite. It tilts a little, but that could be the old brownstone that we are in. It is also bowed a little and there are basically cardboard backers on the shelves. All in all, for the price it was fine, but when it comes down to it I would only reccomend with reservations.

Black Bookshelf Headboard
I ordered this headboard for our guest room and it looks great! I read other customer's reviews and was skeptical at first, especially since it doesn't attach to the bed frame. Looking at it now, I think that's a good idea since movement from the bed could cause things to fall over. I plan on using a nylon strap and attaching the headboard to the wall to stabilize it.... The assembly wasn't that easy... it took my husband forever (lol) and he said a few choice words during the process. Eventually, he got it done and it looks just like in the picture. Not a bad product for the price (I paid about $***)

Horrible Ship Time Product Good
The product itself is fine and does what I wanted. The issue was in the ship time and the total lack of customer service. It put a bad taste in my mouth that it takes five days for a UPS update as to where my item is. And 12 days for shipping is a bit much unless of course it was coming from SIberia

New bookcase headboard
As to assembly, the enclosed screws to assemble the unit are LONGER than the depth of the pressed wood/composite board, so the screws go all the way through and break the surface and break the "melamine" or such finish on the "good side" that shows! BIG Mistake in design/assembly!!!!

Great product
We are very happy with our new furniture purchase. We ordered the dresser, bed, and nightstand. It did take a while to assemble, but the instructions were very clear and all the parts were there. For the price it is great quality! Would definately recommend!

Excellent teen headboard
The only issue is there is no way to attach the bedframe to the headboard, but perhaps that is what they intend to avoid the headboard rocking back and forth. I just keep the bed about an inch from the headboard and told the kids not to jump on the bed. Very nice overall! the quality meets or exceeds the price.
