This cubby or wall shelf is a very nice design and easy to put together. I had to use toggle bolts to mount it as I have an old home with lathe and plaster walls, so I am not sure of the weight limit I will have to work with. Also, my only concern with the design is the wall mount itself. The way the cubby fits into the mount is good, but the lip it slides into seems small, or short. I believe this cubby will work well for me, since I do not have children who might hang on it. I believe winter coats will hang fine, but I would not put heavy books in the cubby as well as hang lots of heavy garments on it.

Love the look of this in my entry way with the shoe bench!

When the wall shelf arrived it had a chipped end board...I contacted the company via email with all my information and the part needed and they replaced the board. Once the new board was received assembly continued and there was an issue with the top board. You need to be very careful when attaching the top board to the plastic dowels on the uprights. With little force they pushed right through the top! I once again contacted the company and they sent me a new top board with no hassle. Once the board was received I realised I needed new plastic dowels as they are not reusable. I contacted the company again and they promplty replaced the dowels. Though it took time to get new parts and pieces, the end product is good quality and the company was pleasant to work with.

It is much bigger than I'd expected with was great for my space. I got my baskets at Target, they are a little smaller than the cubby, but I do thinkg they are needed. The back of he cubby is not very attractive b/c of the way the mounting wood meets one another.

Overall I am pleased with the product. It was very easy to assemble ( for my husband). We have had several Postive feedback from people.

Looks good but is not as sturdy as it looks. However, for the price, it does the job. I would suggest painting the backs of the cubby boxes or finding baskets that take up most of the cubby space. They are working good in my laundry room hall. With the addition of baskets, they do handle a lot of storage items. I would recemmend them for almost anywhere in the house....certainly mudrooms, laundry, back door entrance, etc.

I love this product. It looks great in the small hallway that leads to the garage. . . very convenient to place our coats and winter accessories in it. However, be prepared to drill your own holes and provide your own screws for the support board. I was ok because I'm handy with a drill, but if you're installtion shy get a handyman. Once you have it in the studs you're good. I purchased canvas bins to go in mine (also not included). It's sturdy and looks great. The first one I ordered wasn't packed well and had a lot of damage, but true to their reputation, O.co had another delivered asap which was packed perfectly.

This product is a good quality - I agree with some of the other posts, I wouldn't put too much weight on it either. I'm using it to store a few coats and the cubbies to hold winter accessories not books or heavier items. My husband reinforced the mounting with extra screws, but overall it was easy to put together and matches the Broadway 30-shoe-cube bench perfectly. It gives the entryway a Crate and Barrel/Pottery Barn look at a much cheaper price tag!

The instructions were not that clear. They seemed a little backwards. It is nice and what I needed. Good size.

A nice piece of furniture for the price. I was not expecting such with the price of the piece. We were very pleased. I would say this was on-par with furniture purchased at Target or Wal-Mart, just much less expensive. So if you are looking for a piece at that level of quality, I would recommend this one - save some money. I read a few reviews that said the piece was not sturdy. I'm not sure who assembled that item, but mine was just fine. The instructions are easy to understand and basic.

This piece is exactly what I needed. Strong and durable. Mounting it was very simple and the fact that the shelving unit can be removed is perfect. Mine is located by my basement stairs door and there has been a couple of occasions that I needed to take the coat rack down to allow for a large item to be taken down the basement. Very, very convenient.

This wall shelf is so much better than I thought it'd be. It's great quality and very sturdy. We put this in our laundry room to take the place of a smaller wall shelf we had that's fallen down twice. This one is much more substantial and looks great below our black framed cork board. It's the perfect place for jackets, backpacks, and dance bags for all the kids. Love it!

This entryway shelf is exactly what we needed and what was described on o.co. It's very sturdy and I love the organization it provides for mail, purse, coats and backpacks - everything you need to "drop" right when you get through the door. Note that the baskets pictured are not included, which is noted in the description; it would have been nice treat if they were. A friend assembled it for us; I saw him take the box and the next thing I knew the shelf was hung. We're very pleased with the quality from Overstock.com and have already recommended the site to many friends.

If you read a lot of the reviews, there seems to be a trend. It is easy to put together for some and not so easy for others. We were the unlucky ones! It took quite a while to put together (but perhaps it was because only one person was working on it). Once it was together, getting it on the wall was the hardest part! The shelving does't come with the 2 1/2" recommended screws so we found some of our own and ran into a problem with what was behind our wall. Recognizing that this is not the fault of the shelves, I would give them 4 stars because they look great in our entryway, are pretty sturdy - I put baskets in the cubby holes and hung jackets on the hooks - and were the most inexpensive yet nice looking shelves I have found. I do recommend them but have an extra hand to help put them together and hang them though because it does arrive in a lot of pieces.

The directions were easy to follow. All part were there. Easy to wall mount. It is bigger than the listing looks to measure the spot where you are putting it. Good quality

I am happy with the purchase of this shelf. I also ordered the coordinating bench. The only reason I would not give it 5 stars is due to the coat hooks. They have a nice silver look, but appear slightly slanted when you put them on the shelf. It is not that noticeable though especially if coats are hung on them.

Unbelievable price for such a great quality. It is very sturdy and can hold a lot of weight. It mounts to the wall with a wooden piece that you can actually slip the shelf on and off when you need to (i.e. bringing big items through the front door of a tight entry way). Couldn't be more pleased and will probably purchase the bench too!

I looked around for awhile for this type of shelf. I wanted it for my kids to hang their backpacks and to have cubbies for homework separation. This was just what I wanted. It looks nice and it's heavy duty enough to stand up to the four kids that put it to use. Super happy with the purchase.
