Pros and Cons - But overall a good buy.
Quality: Personally I find the quality of this piece to be adequate. It isn't a solid wood dresser that will last a lifetime, but you shouldn't expect that for $250. I didn't find it to wobble on the carpet and it doesn't seem as if it will tip. However, as far as quality, the only thing I was disappointed with was the fact it had a cardboard backing. Assembly: I personally did not have a hard time at all putting this piece together. I am a 24 y/o female and assembled the whole thing by myself with a battery operated screwdriver with no problem at all. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I did have an issue with missing some screws but contacted the manufacturer (not overstock) and they were replaced promptly with no hassle at all. Looks: You see the photo. It looks just that good in my room. It goes very nicely and is very elegant. It is a little smaller than I would have expected but still a decent size. Overall this is a good deal in my opinion. If you are looking for an heirloom then you are going to need to look elsewhere. But if you are looking for a nice dresser to start out with this will be a nice, new, and fairly inexpensive piece to do just that.

SAVE YOUR MONEY. IF YOU WANT THIS BAD YOU CAN HAVE OURS. WE WILL SELL IT VERY CHEAP LIKE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE.

Broadway Black 6 drawer dresser
I purchased this dresser and I was suprised at how good the quality is. It was time consuming putting it together, but if I had used a power screwdriver, it would have taken half the time. It is a very sturdy piece of furniture, and I have seen dresser's of lesser quality in furniture stores that cost at least 3 times more. Very good buy, I would highly recommend this dresser.

Not what we expected
The dresser and nightstand looked a lot like a plastic laminate table and not much like the picture. We were disappointed and returned it.

Looks can be deceiving.
Putting this piece together was time consuming but a surmountable challenge. I was surprised at how nice the finish was, but very disappointed in the quality and sturdiness of it. It is especially wobbly on carpet.....I had my apprehensions when I saw the safety strap. I wish I had taken the the advice of the other review and saved my money to buy a better quality piece of furinture. Even though it is not very practical, particuraly regarding the capacity of the drawers, it does look good from AFAR.

Im Happy
After reading many bad reviews on this product, I took a chance anyway since I have had nothing but positive experiences with Overstock. I purchased the dresser, put it together and it looks great. Exactly as pictured. Quality is good for the price. I have no complaints about this piece. Looks great, sturdy and compliments the room.

Solid, nice looking product with a few drawbacks
Excellent packaging -- everything arrived in working order. Easy to assemble (although it took a few hours and was tedious at times) and all of the pre-drilled holes were perfectly aligned. Went together nicely with decent instructions. And get this -- no allen wrenches!! You use ACTUAL screw drivers and power tools (if you prefer!) If you take your time, there is no need to dissemble and reassemble like with similar products. The product is sturdy and looks great in a bedroom. One caveat -- the dimensions of the drawers are a little off. They are about 2.5 - 3 times wider than they are deep. This isn't a problem for most people, I am sure, but I am a tall guy and the dresser fit considerable less clothing than I had expected for it's size. If this is for a child's room or for an average sized woman, then this shouldn't be a problem. As for durability -- this unit is pretty solid...I could see it lasting a good 5 - 10 years if treated well.

Great Item-Great Price
I purchased the dresser needing a simple, black, six drawer piece of furniture to fill a space in my house. It's the perfect size, easy to assemble and will hold the items I need well. Not wanting to spend an abhorrent amount of money on an item I may only have a few years I think this was the perfect choice.
