Love these pillows. They're perfect on a plum-colored quilt. The color shown is the exact color of the actual pillow. Since it is Thai silk, the olive green and the lavender/plum are shiny. In the picture it looks kind of dull. These may be too over the top for some color schemes, but for me it works perfectly. The 16" by 16" pillow inserts on this site fit the pillow perfectly.

I really thought I was buying pillows and not just the covers. However, I love the colors and the design and I bought cheap pillows to go inside and now they are beautiful. The colors are very jewel tone and rich. They won't match just anything though. If you can use the colors, which are exactly like the picture shows, then these are the perfect pillow covers.

loved the colors but it did not fit well with standard sized throw pillows.
