This machine is great, and the refurbished unit comes at a great price. The value is not as good as it could be, as it is missing some of the extras that the machine would otherwise have (filter housing, My K-cup), but it is still much better than paying full retail price, and my machine looks brand new. With respect to the coffee, it does an excellent job with a K-cup. With that said, a K-cup is a K-cup and it is not going to taste like a cup from a french press, but the convenience and cleanliness is a great bonus. Overall, this is a great product at a great price, and I am quite pleased with it.

I have owned a Tassimo, it was too noisy and didn't fit large cups without taking out the drip bottom and then water would get everywhere. However, I loved that they sold chai tea latte. So I had to give that up and shared my brother's Keurig for awhile. It was pretty good but didn't look that great and again you had to remove the drip holder at the bottom to fit your tall to-go mugs in the morning. Then when he got rid of the Keurig I upgraded to this Breville. I've owned it for almost six months and it rocks! Yes, I have to remove the drip tray for my tallest mugs still, but it's easy to remove and water does not coming pouring out everywhere so who cares?! It looks ten times better than either of the others I owned. It has timers so your water can be heated and ready to brew right when you wake up. It's not nearly as noisy as the other models I owned. And I was nervous about it being refurbished, but it works perfectly. I absolutely love it. It's great for someone like me who may have three cups a coffee a day max. I used to waste so much coffee using a regular coffee maker because I was the only one drinking it. Now I can have whatever I want, whenever. And my guests can have something totally different right away. It also will give you a cup of just hot water for making drinks that require that. LOVE IT!

For the price that it sells for as refurbished as compared to a brand new item, this is actually a great deal. The missing items are the My-Kup accessories, but after taking a look into the price for their replacements, it still totals less than a brand new item. Other than a photocopied manual, the product is great. I have no problems to note with its quality, its appearance, and its functionality.

I am astounded with how fast I received my brewer!! I ordered it on the 9th and received it TWO days later!! And I did Standard Shipping. Way to go, Overstock! This is the first time I've purchased from Overstock.com, but I don't think it will be my last. My brewer came well packaged and eventhough it is a refurbished item, you couldn't tell. I gave it 4 stars only because I've only had it less then 24 hours and haven't really had time to play with it yet. I did get it set up last night and used the Auto-ON feature this morning. That alone makes me love this machine!

The BKC600XL model is beautiful, but extremely loud (wake-up people loud) and vibrates (yes I properly primed it). After two years of being annoyed by the terrible noise, the gasket that seals the top of the k-cup came unglued. I finally bought the "whisper quiet" BKC700XL and could not be happier. Love keurig and I love Brevilled products, just not this model. If you are going to spend a small fortune for a Keurig, buy the newest model.

How disappointing. Breville has had such a quality name only to break after approximatelly 100 uses. This machine is overpriced for such poor quality. After so few uses I have to purchase a new different machine.

I am extremely disappointed.......I purchased this refurbished machine in June 2009. The machine is not functioning at all as of Dec 09. When the Brew button it pressed you get water ejecting from various places, with exception of the brew basket. Ugh!The machine arrived quick, and looked brand new! It worked marvilously at first. I am not sure if this is a common issue for all of the Breville machines or if this was due to buying a refurbished machine.I have other Breville appliances that are 100% the best I have ever owned. Chances are it was due to buying refurbished vs. new machine.Regardless of the value, appealing apperance, and fast ship time.I GIVE THIS ONE A BIG THUMBS DOWN!!!

I am sooo happy with my Breville one cup brew machine! I was a bit nervous about purchasing a refurbished machine, however, I took a chance with the much lower price. I am so glad I did! I really enjoy using the machine, it is very easy. The coffee maker is gorgeous on my counters and I am thrilled to use it each morning.

I had purchased the refurbished model to save some money. When the package came, the product was in perfect condition, not a scratch on it. The machine works beautifully. It does make a loud noise when it is heating up the water, but most of these k-cup machines do. We had a super bowl party and everyone was amazed by this machine. My girlfriend's grandmother even purchased one for herself. I am extremely happy with this product.

This is a very attractive and well made coffee maker, I can't say yet what the durability will be, but am enjoying it so far. I had a Keurig before and it quit working slightly more than a year after purchase, so I thought I'd try a different brand, and I'm happy that I did. The coffee is great and tastes richer. I like the flexibility to make 4 sizes of cups, I like the display and it's easy to read/understand. Also The larger reservoir is nice.

I just got this in a refurbished unit, it looks just like a new one in a plan jane box. The only thing I wish they would do is tell you that they take out the measure spoon and filter from the top of the unit (that comes with a new one)and insert a peice of paper that tells you it can be purchased from breville, they do the same with the water filter, it comes with the new one but not the refurbished unit. It's still a great deal, just wish they told you what it would be missing up front and use a regular manual instead of a printed out version stapled together.
