For being similar in price, the appearance of this one is elegant and we are very pleased with the quality of espresso and ease of steaming it offers. Also easier to clean.     We purchased this machine a few years ago as an anniversary gift to ourselves & always enjoyed it. A few days before our anniversary this year our machine quit working. We were pleased to see that Overstock still offered the same machine. The new model is not as heavy as the previous version, but still appears to be well made. It makes great coffee!

    Having already purchased this machine almost six years ago from Overstock and buying the same one again says it all. It is tough to find a machine out there where you are not just pushing a button. I like to have control over the length of time my espresso shots are pulled. This machine allows the user that control and flexibility (if you want a ristretto for example). It is an "old school" machine where you actually use ground espresso versus capsules. As with many of the products from this company, it has a nice steely look to it (versus plastic) and it withstood my two cappucino per day habit. Also, the water pump on this one seems to be less noisy than the previous version of the model. My only minor complaint is that they redesigned the water tank, so there is no longer easy opening at the back; you have to pull the tank out forward and fill (which seems a bit awkward). Other than that, so far I am happy with the purchase (again). Solid machine at a great price on Overstock. Hoping it will last until 2020!
