Buyer's Remorse
This blender is a hunk of junk. Don't waste your money buying it. It looks nice in the picture, but the quality of the unit is sub-par. I have used the blender less than ten times since I bought it earlier this year and have had nothing but problems with it. Two of the metal teeth on the blender (i.e. inside the glass container) broke off, on different occasions. Thankfully I discovered the pieces before I ingested them. The motor assembly inside the unit is also flimsy. The motor is secured to the base by three plastic posts, all of which broke. I was able to refasten them with new screws, but the fix was only temporary. I should've just send the piece of junk back instead of trying to fix it. I wasted $**. I now need to buy another new blender, and I'll be sure to heed the age-old advice: You get what you pay for.
