When the box arrived 2 of the corners were crushed. I had read on other reviews that some corners were damaged. I am not sure if they corners were damaged in shipping or if they were already marred. The bottom drawer had a large amount of dried glue on the surface. IThe piece was very heavy and took 2 of us to bring it int the house. The material looked like it was pressed bamboo veneer with some chipped edges. I returned it.

I love this TV stand! It accommodates large-size TV''s and looks great. It is sturdy and nicely put together. It's a wonderful addition to our family room, we are very happy with this purchase. The quality of the piece beats similar and more expensive TV stands out there, and the others look cheap and are not as sturdy. I would definitely recommend this TV stand, and the fact that it is made partially of bamboo is a plus as well.

The media center arrived with crushed corners. The thin veneer on the large slabs of wood were crushed and the particle board was showing. Decided to keep it, despite the fact that three out of the four corners were crushed because the look is ok and I needed it. The workmanship is fine and its otherwise sturdy and easy to put together.

The good: This entertainment console looks great and was easy to assemble. It is a solid piece of furniture and looks great in our living room. The bad: It appears that the one we got had been assembled and then sent back by someone who didn't want it. The bottom corner of the drawer and the back of the top shelf both had a small chunk taken out of them. There were miscellaneous screws strewn about in the packaging, so it was a task making sure I got every one of these 1/2" screws out of all the styrofoam. Overall, the console is great, but we weren't too happy with the condition that it arrived in.

This is a smartly crafted and engineered knock-down kit. The instructions recommend that 2 people put it together, but I was able to do the job solo with no difficulty and I'm 5'4". The pieces are sturdy. The pre-drilled holes line up perfectly. The whole thing was together and looking sharp in about an hour.The veneers are excellent. Great deal on a piece of furniture that has a nice bit of flare w/o being flashy.

This arrived VERY quickly, heavy box. Went together in 45 minutes (+ phone calls & a martini)The look is very good, and it is all wood, no paper/particle board. I have it below a 50" plasma screen with a soundbar on top shelf. Very pleased.
