I've done a fair amount of online shopping but I was skeptical when I purchased this. I was concerned that Overstock furniture might turn out to be former returns and or irregular merchandise not able to be sold in the store. Boy was I surprised when my packages showed up in 2 days and upon opening the box discovered the table parts were very well packaged and absolutely gorgeous. I had read the reviews so I was prepared for some disapointment with the stain, but it is not a problem. It actually makes it appear more unigue. The stainless steel is not heavy, but it appears that it will stand the test of time. The finish is nice. The bamboo parts are substantial. It definitely does not look cheap. I put it together by myself and didn't need the directions to do so. The part that others say takes two people was easy for me alone. I sat on my sofa and supported the bottom table on the edge of my lap while I screwed in the screws. I don't think you will be diasapointed with this product.
I was looking for right size and style console and this one met somehow my requirements.
