Love it
This ended up being the perfect color althought I thought it would be lighter.I was looking for something that wasn't dark and this worked great.Took a couple hours to assemble but was pretty easy

Postive review
The instructions for assembly were very poor!! Front, back, top, bottom should have been labled so you could better determine which direction the piece should be installed. Also, the dowels did not fit tight in the drilled holes. Instructions did not say to install with wood glue but after the first few I used wood glue to install. This made the finished product very stable. Upon completion the fireplace and cabinet is beautiful and works great!! Instructions should be better!!!!!

Great piece of furniture, but....
Nice piece of furniture but the logs must have shifted during shipment or a piece was already broken off the logs, so you see the light bulbs when you turn on the flames. Way too heavy to pack back up and return.

Excellent fireplace !!
Purchased this fireplace for my mom and assembled it for her. It was easy to put together, although the pictures in the directions are VERY small. If you have never assembled a fireplace before, you may have a difficult time figuring out the directions. I have already assembled two for myself (different brands) so I had a general idea. Otherwise, it is really beautiful and well-made. The firebox emits a very nice glow.
