I was quite impressed with the whole package. The comforter it's self is fairly thick and I was impressed by the weight and quality. I was a little surprised by the color as I was excpecting it to be more red, but it is actually a little more of a deep orangish red...which I still really like! Not a fan of white sheets, but I've gotten more compliments for the set and would definitley recommend it to friends!
This bedding looks really good on the display, but in person...NOT SO MUCH. A real disappointment. It looks cheap, the color is off, and the white leafing at the bottom of the comforter looks gaudy and loud. I was going to use it in the guestroom, but I am going to replace it so that my holiday guest won't think I want them to go home before it's time. It might work in a Sunroom on a Daybed, but it ain't happening on a real bed. Look for something else. This one isn't it.
The comforter is a little scratchy, and the sheets are really nice. I was worried about the color based on the other reviews and held off buying it for about 3 weeks. My roommates and many others convinced me that the color would be really nice and boy were they RIGHT!! I love the color and the set looks great in my new room. I'm still trying to find a bed skirt to go with it, and once i find a good one the look will be complete. Great value for the product. It is red with a minuscule of orange in the color so dont worry about what "spice" means.
