These are great counter stools. They are heavy and good looking. A really great value. A little hard to put together but once done - so glad I took the chance without seeing them. They are in our new home and when someone asked where I got them- OVERSTOCK.COM- they were amazed- thank you overstock! well done.

I love these chairs! The instructions for assembly were not that great, but the chairs were still pretty easy to put together. After the first chair, the rest went together very quickly. They look great, price is good.

I love these stools. Get so many compliments BUT the back of the stoll hits the counter and the beautiful wood on the stolls is chipped. Can you recommend a solution? I've tried the pencils to cover but this does not solve the problem.

These extension bar stools are great for taller kitchen counter top bars. And if you move to a differnt house, shorter legs can be put on and can still be used.

i ordered 2 of these stools for my kitchen island. they are absolutely gorgeous! it took me about 45 minutes to put the first one together, and the second took me half that.......i did it all my myself...... not bad for a mom of 3. they are very sturdy and are really heavy.......not like flimsy barstools that i have seen in stores. the wood is beautiful and the iron is a brown/bronze color.....perfect with my kitchen decor. so worth the money!

we purchased these stools and they are gorgeous, absolutely beautiful! they were delivered timely. It did take a little while to assemble but it was well worth it.

We searched for 36" bar stools with local merchants. After days of looking, no luck, we were told that we would have to have them special ordered and they would take weeks before we would get them and they would cost much more than the standard 30" bar stools. Then we searched the internet. When i enterented 36" bar stools, i was directed to Overstock.com. What a blessing. They arrived in 3 days. My husband had a little problem assembling the first one. After that, the other two were a breeze. We were so happy to have found 36" bar stools that would fit out new bar. They look great. I now look at overstock for other itmes before checking other web sites. They always have the best deals.

I purchased four of these bar stools because of the description and reviews. They were received quickly, in about 4-5 days. My husband and son had a few real male bonding moments assembling the first one, but after that the remaining 3 were considerably easier. The one question I had that was not addressed in the reviews was whether or not they had rubber feet so as not to scratch or mar my mexican tile floors. The answer is yes, they are equipped with rubber feet. The height of the stools is slightly higher than our old ones which works out good with the height our kitchen bar. The stools are quite heavy and appear to cost more than the price we paid. They display quality workmanship and we have had nothing but compliments on them.

These are absoltuely gorgeous bar stools. I had seen them in a model. The only drawback was I did not realize they were in complete pieces. I ordered bar stools before and there was a top and a bottom. This was the whole deal. just let people know that is what they are going to have to do. It wasnt that hard with two people but alot of work. Well worth it.

I, like another reviewer writes, was very skeptical about ordering something off of the internet because I am a "touchy feely" type before I purchase! I had seen these in a model home and had been looking for them everywhere. I finally found them on Overstock.com one night - YEAH! My hubby was thrilled that my long search was over!! We ordered 3 of them by midnight on Monday and got all three of them from TN on Thursday! It was so quick!! We love them. They took some time to put together (& hubby is very handy). they look great in our kitchen. OK - we didn't understand the "adjustable legs." The stools come with 2 sets of legs/feet for the bottom of the stool. You can use one set for bar height & the other is for counter height. We've gotten only compliments on these - even from my picky relatives!! We definitely recommend them - great bargain too!!

I looked for bar stools for months and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for until I went on Overstock.com This chair is not only well made but beautiful and the cushion was the perfect color to match the pillows on my sofa. You can't beat the price too. The assembly was very easy if you follow directions. I would recomment this bar stool to everyone!!!!!

I ordered one stool and was so .pleased I ordered another. The second arrived without assembly instructions so I asssembled it incorrectly and had to re do it. I was very frustrated as the stool was not that easy for me to assemble. Now that that is behind me I am really enjoying my stools. They are comfortable, very beautiful ,and quite sturdy. I needed a stool that is higher than most and this fits the bill. I would order another but I have limited space at my bar and these are pretty large so I don't want to overcrowd the space. These stools are also unusual. I doubt you will find them elseware, I am very happy with them.

This bar stool is beautiful and functional. We hope it holds up. We had a pair like them for 5 years before the legs gave out. They had a lot of double sitters with teens and newlyweds, so we think this set will go a bit further now we are empty nesters.

I read all the reviews before purchasing two of these barstools. I was a little skeptical about ordering these because I'm the type of shopper that likes to touch and feel before I purchase anything! Overstock didn't let me down! I'm a very satisfied customer and suggest to others that are a little hesitant to purchase - believe me, these are worth it! Ordering and shipping was very fast and easy! My husband and I just completed the assembly and I have to say...they are PERFECT! The quality is magnificent, assembly was easy and they look so beautiful in my kitchen with my cherry cabinets! I've shopped around online and in quality furniture stores, but these surpass everything I've seen! Thank you Overstock for supplying great products, fine quality and unbelievable prices!

These stools are beautiful. They were easy to assemble, especially after the first one. They look gorgeous in my kitchen. I had looked for a long time for the perfect barstool and I found them. They are very sturdy and well built. I have had nothing but great comments from friends and family. I had a problem with one of the stools and Overstock replaced it quickly with no hassles involved. I love Overstock.com. What a great company to work with!! Of course, I will be purchasing more from them in the future. You will be very pleased if you get these stools. I promise.

I loved these stools, but the seat height was about 1 1/2 inch shorter on the bar stool than stated. Keep this in mind if you have a high counter top. I was very disappointed to have to return these stools because they were gorgeous and in perfect condition. The colors and the wood looked rich. The cushions were padded and well protected with plastic which was easy to pull off. I ended up having to pay 4 times as much for bar stools that weren't as nice as these!
