Cold Smoking on hot days proved to be quite a challenge until now. The Bradley Cold Smoke Adaptor attaches between the smoke tower and the generator with a flexible aluminum tube that allows the smoke to cool down before it reaches your food, enabling you to do a true cold smoke.

This Bradley cold smoke adapter is the perfect food smoking accessory and it is conveniently compatible with all Bradley Smoker models. The adapter set includes a cold smoke box, adapter plate and a bypass plug that is used for digital smokers. It is made of aluminum and powder-coated steel for a sleek look.

    This adapter works as advertised. It keeps the heat of the smoke generator out of the smoker box. Some have used carboard boxes and other home made contraptions to accomplish the same purpose. I'm sure the "official' Bradley adapter will last for years to come. I'm happy I made the purchase. The only negative is the supplied ducting is quite flimsy. It will probably have to be replaced with dryer duct in the future.

    If you want to smoke cheese without melting or other foods without cooking them then you will most certainly want this addition to your Bradley Smoker. We have found we use this more than we expected. During the summer heat cheese would be impossible to smoke decently without it melting if not for the cold smoker.

  • What is the temperature range?

    • Hello axenos1973, it is cold smoking, it takes the biscuit, burns and pushes the smoke through a pipe which takes most the heat out. We have not been able to find any information stating the temperature range. We hope this helps and thank you for shopping with us.

  • Do I need this adaptor if my smoker is a digital one?

    • Thank you for your interest. The distributor states: "It is not needed to work. It is my understanding that the smoke goes through warm with the regular set-up, but if you would prefer cooler smoke temperatures, then you can get the adapter and use it."
