Can you check on this? it says you should order 2-3 times the width of your window. That makes sense for a regular valance however this looks like it should not be gathered on the rod. Can I go with the actual 52" width for the smooth look that is in the picture? Thanks

Are the measurements for this valance accidentally inverted? 17" is far too short a width for my windows and 52" is far too long in length. Please confirm the dimensions of this product. Thanks!
