This painting is very charming. The beauty of the frame isn't noticable on the computer picture, and the colors suited the picture so well that it was an unexpected bonus. This is the perfect picture for a library!

This was a beautifully framed canvas-transfer of a stunning picture. I liked it so well that I returned it to purchase a larger version. I would recommend this to anyone with traditional tastes.

I don't know why I like this portrait, but I really do. I needed a wall picture to go into a corner space next to my living room bookshelf. On the other side, I placed the portrait of my children when they were younger, so this almost looks like it could be their grandmother. At first, I thought it would matter that she's a stranger, but now I feel like I know her!

there are no "brush strokes" as described-it's more of a "glycee" finish. Up close, the digitization is pretty clear, but when only a few feet away it's unnoticable. Like the real pice, it's a picture your eyes keep going back to, and a good buy. Just don't expect an exact replica!

I have purchased many items from Overstock and have always been happy. This purchase was no exception. It is absolutely beautiful and commands your attention in a subtle way when you see it. I have it in my bedroom and look straight to it whenever I enter the room. Another great art purchase!

This is a beautiful picture for the price The frame is wood and very expensive looking. The depiction doesn't do it justice. However, it's more of a gold/bronze than the brown hue that appears online. Very well packaged and delivered in a couple of days. My only disappointment is that it's smaller than I envisioned, so it's going on another wall than the one intended. Buying a print and having it framed would have been more expensive than buying the completed project.

I loved the picture although the frame wasn't exactly what I was hoping for.

I bought the STORY BOOK yrs ago its not the oil painting, but its a copy on a hard backing. I just love the painting and the idea of a little girl giving the impression of excepting life and what it means to be that young in todays hard times. I have purchased many works of art; however, 'The Story Book' is by far my favorite piece. Every time I walk into my foyer, I am greeted by the picture of this young, innocent, beautiful child. No matter where you are standing, the child looks straight into your eyes and you are transfixed by her gaze. The frame is golden brown and absolutely perfect for the painting. It goes without saying; I highly recommend this product without reservation!
