11 inches of material compressed to 8 inches..Ha. 8 inches thick. That's it, but ok. Once I purchased the mattress cover...everything was much better. The mattress looks ok when in the sitting position but not great. Is pretty comfortable though. Not a bad purchase, but not great.Read More
We received a damaged product which also was of so-so quality. Due to the imminent arrival of guests we didn't return it. The size was perfect for the space and the comfort was adequate.Read More
the matress is very comfortable. not like other futons. the assembly was a little confusing but not that difficult. the frame is very sturdy overall i think its a great bed! arrived quickly although the matress arrived a few days ahead of the frame. the free shipping was amazing to me, not on dime to ship it .Read More
this item arrived relatively quickly after it was ordered. the finished product seems sturdy, however after it was put together my son and his friend were lying on it and one of the screws popped out. they quickly put it back together and were told there should be no more than one person lying on it at a time. it would be much better if the queen-size mattress came with strings that we could tie to the frame because it slides do to its weight. also, there were a couple of bolt screws missing. we simply went to ***** hardware and purchased them. i figured it would have been much easier than waiting on the parts. a bit of a hassle, but the finished product seems nice.Read More
Recommend you watch the assembly video first! Saved me tons of time and effort. Even learned a few things for other projects. Love the futon; sleeps well (I like a firm bed) and perfect for infrequent guests....looks nice and is sturdy enough for the me and the two big dogs to smuggle on! I'm glad I bought it.Read More
The mattress is not as discribed. The mattress that I received is only 6" at best. Very hard and uncomfortable. I really like overstock but I seem to be having bad luck with a few of my orders. Hope it changes soonRead More
Bought this for our spare bedroom, it wasn't as bad to assemble as I thought it would be according to some reviews, did need some finagling to align some of the bolts into the holes but with a partner its not to bad. After assembly there was many parts left over but after following the instructions it was clear that for some reason they provide parts that are used on other models as well as the one we purchased because we had all the part to assemble the unit, seems like a waste of money for the manufacturer to just be giving away parts but hey thats all them. Anyway for the price I think its worth it, the mattress is nothing special not to hard not to soft, probably if someone slept on it one or two nights they'd be fine but if more than that they'd probably need one of those mattress pads.Read More
I was very surprised about this product very, good quality mattressRead More
We bought this for use in our guest room and it seems reasonably sturdy for two adults to sleep on. It's definitely not for kids to jump on as the legs are not big enough to support to much pounding.Read More
Good to excellent choice for a balance of aesthetics, comfort, ease of asembly and price. Frame and mattress arrive separately.Read More
