I am so impressed with these blinds! The quality is exceptional, especially for the price. They are more see-through than what I was expecting, but that's what I wanted. I was looking for a nice interesting window shade to look at, adding depth and texture to my living room, while at the same time allowing light to filter in. The color is similar to a chestnut-honey shade (hard to describe because of all the different hues and flecks of medium to deep brown) and will match a variety of different tones in every decor. I like how they provide privacy, yet allow the sun to brighten the room. It's dark and wintery where I live right now, but I can't wait to see how they transform my living room with sunlight streaming in through the skinny matchsticks. One thing to note: I bought three shades and every one was matching in color (I read a review stating some didn't seem to be from the same dye lot), but one of mine was just a bit shorter than the other two. No big deal to me because they are long enough to hide. I would recommend these in a second.
