  • The Italians know home goods!

    I plan to use these not for canning but for the granola I make and give away. They are a beautiful heavy-duty glass jar with snap lid and rubber (reusable) gaskets. I love that they come in a variety of sizes, so if I need larger jars for other projects I'll try those too. Definitely not cheap like the Chinese junk you see at the dollar-type stories, but well worth the investment (I think) for special gifts, etc.

  • Glass is the way to go

    I absolutely love, love, love these glass jars! I have them in every size made. Storing in glass is the only way to go...in my opinion. They do not stain nor hold a smell. The jars are well made, close very tightly and you can see what you have inside. They look great on the shelf or counter top. I have been using them for several months now and have had no problems. I only hand wash them as I'm afraid of what would happen to the metal if I put them in the dish washer. The mouth of the jar is plenty big for your hand to fit inside. I highly recommend them!

  • Quality, thick glass, tight seal, stackable

    I purchased these for dry goods storage and appreciate the tight seal, uniform look of buying multiples and super function. About ten ounces of pecans, for example, fit in this size. I also purchased the .75 L 6-pack and together they have such a stunning look, especially when filled with nuts, almond flour, seeds, etc that I may leave them counter top despite limited counter space. I have them stacked, only two high, but three would be sturdy as well. Glass is thick, seal is tight and rubber ring is quality. Nothing cheap about these...and hey, they are Italian-made ( a perk in my book).

    I love all Bormioli canning jars. These are no exception. I have several sizes and when I first received these I was unsure what I would do with them because they are fairly small but I really had no problems finding things to put in them. They are great for storing dried beans, rice, tea and my home made pesto. They are heavy duty, wash easy and look great. Highly recomend.
