I absolutely love, love, love these glass jars! I have them in every size made. Storing in glass is the only way to go...in my opinion. They do not stain nor hold a smell. The jars are well made, close very tightly and you can see what you have inside. They look great on the shelf or counter top. I have been using them for several months now and have had no problems. I only hand wash them as I'm afraid of what would happen to the metal if I put them in the dish washer. The mouth of the jar is plenty big for your hand to fit inside. I highly recommend them!

I plan to use these not for canning but for the granola I make and give away. They are a beautiful heavy-duty glass jar with snap lid and rubber (reusable) gaskets. I love that they come in a variety of sizes, so if I need larger jars for other projects I'll try those too. Definitely not cheap like the Chinese junk you see at the dollar-type stories, but well worth the investment (I think) for special gifts, etc.
