Beautiful piece of furniture!
 from MA,  Mar 16, 2009

I bought this for a small bedroom that my grandsons will use when staying over. I wanted a piece that would take up as little room as possible and this definately worked out great as I can slide the trundle in when not in use, freeing up floor space. It's even more beautiful in person. It was shipped quickly and the packing was excellent. I would definately recommend this! Extremely well made.

daybed
from Central Illinois,  Oct 17, 2009

This is a beautiful bed and my daughter loves it. She put it together herself cause she was tired of waiting for me. I did come in and make sure everything was tight and helped put the headboard and footboard on with the railings--takes two people for that. She's had it for months now and the trundle rolls in and out smoothly. I have used antique or hand-me-down beds, never purchasing a new frame before. When I compared the prices, this was a really good deal. I LOVE OVERSTOCK!!!

Ready for guests
from Rochester NY,  Sep 6, 2009

An excellent buy, arrived in 4 boxes, very easy to put together, needed only a little help from a friend due to the size of the end pieces. Purchased it for a guest bedroom and it looks wonderful in the room.

Twins Plus One
from Denham Springs,  Aug 29, 2009

Love the Twin Beds! I was a little nervous at first ordering furniture online but there was no need to be nervous because they arrived safely to my home. Fantastic packing and in perfect condition. I have a 4 yr. old and 2 yr. old twin grandsons so I needed the pullout trundles. I also purchased the 7.5" reversible foam mattress's and I'm very pleased with them also. They are very easy to assemble but you need your spouse or someone to help. I will buy from Overstock.com in the future.

Great deal/quality!
from Mount Holly, NC,  Aug 24, 2009

This piece is solid, well built, and is straightforward in its assembly (my kids built it). My son selected it from the many alternatives at other sites and local stores. He wanted a daybed with trundle for the versatility of using the bed as seating and having an extra bed for friends. Couldn't beat the price, style, and materials. Would definitely recommend.Note: would advise use of 1/4" luan or Masonite (w/holes for air circulation) to lay over wooden slats, prior to mattress install. This will minimized mattress sag and the movement of slats over time.

Great Bed
Anonymous  from Virginia,  Aug 10, 2009

I ordered this bed for our 3 year old who was moving to a twin size bed. I was matching high quality furniture from other parts of our house. The quality of this piece was much higher than I expected and fit right into decor of the other fine furniture pieces. The finish is a rich brown and the wood appears to be solid wood (at least it looks and weighs as if it is). The assembly took an hour. The instructions were clear. We keep the lower trundle pulled out slightly and use the lower mattress as a "step stool" of sorts. The unit is so solid that the trundle can be heavy to move - even though it is on wheels. The items arrived only 5 days after it was ordered! Very good purchase experience.

Daybed
 Jul 27, 2009

The bed was very easy to set up and looks great in the room our grandchildren use for visits. We bought the 10" foam mattress for the top and an 8" for the roll out. It is very comfortable and an easy way to get two beds into a small room without looking overcrowded.

Good Buy...so far.
from Denver, CO,  Jul 18, 2009

We bought this bed for our daughter's room. We were moving and she was ready to transition from a crib (which we had modified into a toddler/day bed) into a real bed. We also knew that her bed would serve as the guest bed, so we wanted a trundle. I shopped around for weeks trying to find an inexpensive, solid wood bed...apparently that is an oxymoron! Most inexpensive daybeds that I found were made of either particle board or metal, so we decided to spend about 50-75 dollars more than originally planned to go the route of quality.I placed my order and within a week, the bed had arrived. Assembly was simple for my husband, and the bed looks and feels gorgeous. The finish on the wood is rich, smooth and well done...it feels good and sturdy. Time will be the ultimate judge, though. This bed will be in our daughter's room for many many years to come. Considering the expense, I hope that it can stand up to the wear and tear that children ultimately put their furniture through. My only criticism is that the bed is rather bulky. It has a huge presence in her very small room, but we bought it for the long haul, so that doesn't bother me too much. Overall, I think this was a great purchase, and I'd recommended it. Great customer service as well.

Daybed
from Milton, DE,  Jul 8, 2009

I searched for a daybed with a trundle drawer big enough to hold a full size twin mattress. Local furniture stores carried cheap looking metal beds that were unattractive and much more expensive. When I found this bed at Overstock I fell in love with the style and thought the price was great. I doubted that it would be of good quality but was very suprised. The bed is beautiful and looks more like a sofa than a bed which makes it a nice addition to a library/quest room.

Such a Deal!
from Eastern Oregon,  Jun 21, 2009

This is a great buy. No regrets. We got two for twins. 2 little issues. (1) Effort needed with the trundle bed assembly. (2) You throw away an awful lot of Styrofoam - there must be a better way to ship things with no scratches than tossing out garbage bags full of that pernicious stuff. But our kids love their new beds, all that wood is beautiful, better than the picture. The price was the best part, a little over half as much as the local retailer was charging, and lastly, these beds are quality, so they are very heavy. Having them shipped to your door is a must.

Great Value for the money
 from Texas,  Mar 14, 2009

I looked at several furniture stores and could not find a comparable bed for less than $1000.00 (by the time I paid tax and delivery charges). I assembled the bed by myself in approximately 1 hour. The bed is sturdy once put together. The trundle is on wheels so it slides in and out easily.
