instead of the lava rock,can you use the colored glass? I don't care for the lava rock and would like to use the glass instead,also do you carry the colored glass,if it can be used instead?

Can you give me the size dimensions of the actual pit where the lava rocks sit? And if you have the ability to add faux firelogs to the top of the lava rocks, similar to how you can in a gas fireplace?
