What a find!
Upon reading other reviews I made my decision to purchase the 9 piece plate wall hanging. Like they said, the product is MUCH nicer than it appears in the photo. It looks very "old world" I bought it for our new second home in Florida. The home has white walls, floors and cabinets so it needs some color. We will combine the wall hanging with an antique rug with similar colors and a modern leather sectional. The wall hanging is at the entrance of the home on a kaddy-corner wall that opens to a large living room. It is just perfect. there. The plates look ceramic but they are actually metal. A great feature for hanging up because there is little pressure on the wall hangings which are enclosed. No need to secure it additionally which my husband liked.! I'm continuing to shop for the rest of the accessories and furnishings on OVERSTOCK!

Painting on plates is poor.
The physical design is nice. From a distance, this looks ok. The plates look like they are ceramic. Upon closer inspection, the actual painting on most of the plates is VERY sloppy. This was way to expensive for the poor workmanship. If this was painted properly it would have been worth every penney.

Very disappointed with the quality
After reading other reviews I was very excited to purchase these plates because they said that they looked like real ceramic plates & the colors were excellent. The piece I received must have come from a different manufacturer because it was very disappointing. It was made of metal as stated but the edges of the plates were separating. The detailed paint job looked as if it were done by a child and when I opened the box it had a strong chemical smell. I was very impressed with Overstock because they processed my return quickly and without any trouble.

Beautiful piece
This is a beautiful piece. I was disappointed that it was not as bright as it looks online. You would need to have a light shining directly on it to see the detail on it all the time. I was also disappointed to see that these are not actual plates at all, but metal that has been painted. Even with these disappointments it is a beautiful piece and I am keeping it.

disappointed in packaging and quality
Overall quality not reflective of price we paid. We were entertaining a day after it arrived and needed something on the wall otherwise we would have probably returned it.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. the way the product was tied into the box, it rubbed paint/finish off metal w/the ties used to secure it in the box. There were also chips and flaws throughout the whole piece. Once hung on the wall, it's hard to notice unless someone points them out, but overall disappointed in the quality of the product

Nice wall accent
I really like this piece, but it is worth noting that the colors are much darker than photo. Where one sees white in the photo, imagine very dark cream, and all other colors correspondingly darker. I would have preferred a lighter version, but I am getting used to the darker and fortunately it still worked with my neutral furniture. The description did not specifically address the colors, so I would still give it an "accurate" rating. I think the manufacturer could have skipped one layer of the antique effect, kept the colors a bit brighter and still had a nice result.

Love it!
I love this piece, although like some of the other reviews stated, the colors are a bit different than in the picture. The top right flower and the bottom left flower both look in the picture to have a nice white as part of the flower. On my piece those colors are actually a light blue color. The overall feel of the piece is very earth toned with a lot of green, a bit of white, and a fair amount of beige/mustard yellow. Those colors go well with what I have, so I love it. But do beware - if you are looking for white, light yellow, etc., that is not this piece.

Very large
I like this product and contemplated doing a make over to get it where I wanted it. I had what I thought was a very large space, but it turns out this piece was just to big to fit there. I would recommend that you put the measurements on there.

Look great on the wall
We have been looking for something that would go well the wall in our dinette area and this fit the bill perfectly
