This gold if not a complete match with the 28 to 48 gold pole. Quality matches priceRead More
True to the picture. Great quality.Read More
So the bold pole was perfect for the window but the double part was too small and I had to go buy other one and that was a pain to find a match of a" add a rod." Check your measurements.Read More
What a frustrating purchase! Beware - if you plan to use the primary rod at its full length you will not have sufficient secondary rod to complete your project! An additional secondary rod must be purchased & now it's not such a good deal, is it? And if you contact customer service they make you wait two days before they will even tell you if they are able to send the additional rods they should have included in the first place. Cheap, low-down & deceptive, in my opinion. I've purchased other double rods fron Overstock in the past without hassle so was blind-sided by this debacle. This has made a simple project an ordeal. Never again!!!Read More
The curtain rod requires 3 brackets, therefore it requires TWO add-a-rods to work. You are only provided with one. The add-a-rods only go between 2 brackets. It even says on the Add-a-rod box that you need one for each section. I'm trying to find another to purchase so I can actually use this.Read More
The primary rod is very substantial and installed easily. The secondary rod is actually two very flimsy tubes with hooks on the ends that somehow "hook" onto the brackets. Either the instructions were incomplete or I did not receive all parts because there was no way the tubes would work as a secondary rod - even for the most light weight sheers.Read More
Beware if you need to use the center support for this rod or if you expect to use all 74" that are advertised. All they send you is the main rod with an add-on conversion kit. My kit came with only one add-on rod when two are needed with the center support. The add-on rod only goes to 70" even if you try to use it without the center support. I have never been so disappointed with customer service from any internet company. They wanted me to return the whole product that I took the time to put up, complete with wall anchors because they can't/won't send me a second add-on rod. They said the part was not available when a two-minute internet search offered me the exact item I needed.Read More
I'm a regular Overstock shopper and this is the first time I ordered curtain rods. While I agree with the other reviewers that it's a nice looking rod, I found that the diameter of the rods were disproportional. The outer rod is unusually thick, and the inner rod is extremely thin and borderline flimsy. The double rods that I have in my house from Home Depot are much more useful and sturdy. I wish I could return these, but I accidentally threw away the packaging so I will just put them in storage and purchase something else.Read More
I ordered two of these bold pole double rods in the 48-74 inch size. The product arrived and is actually two single poles with add-a-rods to make them double rods. It's a great price for such a package and the rod is a very nice, attractive and solid rod. The only problem is that you actually need 2 add-a-rods for a set up this long. I was able to install one double pole with the 2 add-a-rods they sent me, since I ordered two double poles. This double rod is very nice, but then I was left with just one single pole. I had to submit a request to Overstock for the additional 2 add-a-rods and was then only sent one after waiting a week to get this resolved. I just submitted a second request for the additional add-a-rod and I expect that I will have it by the end of the week as their customer service tends to be very good. And, the end result will be very nice. It's just been a process. Their product assembly needs to be adjusted to include 2 add-a-rods for this length of double rod.Read More

How to Adjust Tension Rods
Curtains are a great way to accent the decor in every room in the house. Tension rods, also called spring rods, are curtain hardware which allow you to hang window curtains, wall curtains or shower curtains without installing curtain rod hardware on the walls. If an existing tension rod slips or if you want to change the curtain panels or add curtain rings, you may need to remove and adjust the rod before putting it back in place. Tension rods are positioned between two facing surfaces, such as the interior frame of a window or the opposing sides of a shower cubicle.

How to Hang a Valance and Curtains
Hanging a valance and curtains over your window will add dimension, texture and style to any room. Window curtains with a valance give your window treatments a finished, designer look. If you want to block out light, a valance and full-length blackout panel curtain is your best choice. If you are more interested in decoration and only need to block minimal light, then a valance over sheer curtains is a good choice. It's important to measure the window and decide what type of curtains you want before you buy the curtain hardware. A cafe rod will be sufficient to support a sheer curtain, but you will need a stronger curtain rod to support heavier fabrics such as blackout panels. Also, the larger the window, the sturdier the curtain rod will need to be.
How to Measure for Curtains
Curtains add privacy and style to a room, but before you buy a set, you'll need to know which size is right. You'll find that curtains usually come in lengths of 63 inches, 84 inches, 95 inches, 108 inches, and 120 inches. The length you choose will depend on the look that you want as well as the placement of your curtain rod.

How to Add a Claw Foot Tub Enclosure
You can add a lot of old-fashioned charm to your bathroom with a claw foot tub and shower enclosure. Once you have the bathtub and plumbing fixtures installed, it's time to set up the frame for the shower curtain. With a normal tub, you could just rely on a shower rod between two walls, but a clawfoot tub is usually set away from the wall in an open area, which means the shower curtain rail will need to cover the entire bath tub perimeter. And that can require a custom enclosure frame for your unique claw foot tub. Here are a few steps to help you install it.
How to Pick Curtains
Curtains can add a distinct feel or the finishing touch to a room. Whether the room is undergoing a complete remodel or just needs sprucing up, the selection of window curtains can add or distract from the desired outcome. How to Hang Drapery Hooks
When you need to quickly hang hemmed drapes or curtains, drapery hooks are an effective and easy-to-use option. The basic style of this curtain hardware staple is a single wire folded against itself; one end has a sharp prong and the other end is bent into a curved hook. In fact, these hooks, also known as drapery pins, almost look like large fishing hooks. Variations of this type of curtain hardware include additional prongs, angled hooks and blunt tips.
