Bodipedic 10-inch King-size Memory Foam Mattress

I had been shopping around for a new mattress because the bed we had been sleeping on was in need of being replaced. I was a little concerned about ordering a mattress I had never laid on. After reading the reviews, I decided on the Bodipedic. I liked the fact that it had a nice cover that could be taken off and you could wash it. I was amazed at how fast I got this bed. I got the email that the bed had shipped and it came within 48 hours. I set the bed up on our existing box springs and opened up the plastic cover to let it inflate into shape. It took about 2 hours for the bed to get into shape and the new bed smell went away the next day. The first night I slept much better than I had been sleeping. I had been going to a chiropractor for a pinched nerve in my shoulder. The next night I decided to put the 3 inch memory foam topper we had on our old bed. What a difference! It is like sleeping on a cloud. I am a big guy (Over 250 pounds.) and this bed works perfectly. I am able to sleep much better that I have been in quite some time. I will have to say that if you already have a mattress topper, sleep on the bed the first time without it and then try it with the topper the second night. The bed feel like I spent much more that I did, I also liked the fact that the bed had a warranty on it. If you are having thoughts about buying a memory foam bed, dump the spring mattress and get yourself one. You will be glad you did.

My husband & I joke that this purchase saved our marriage...! Needless to say we're sleeping better than we ever have & not getting in each other's way like we did when we slept on a queen. This bed is soooo comfortable & roomy, we can't wait to get into bed & watch movies on Friday night rather than going out... We purchased this mattress along with the Tuscany Villa Faux Leather bed & it fits beautifully. I'm soooo stoked on our purchase & would recommend to anyone! For those complaining about the smell of the mattress; I would much rather smell new memory foam than someone else's odor, or the smell of a dirty warehouse. I let this thing air out for no more than a few hours before we were enjoying it & there was no smell to notice by the time we got to bed. AWESOME product, GREAT price!!! SOOOO WORTH IT!

sleeps like a dream. leaves nothing to be desired. except for that paint smell, but that went away after a few days. so comfortable.

I just purchased this mattress yesterday. I have not had the full time to try out the mattress but my nights sleep last night was the best I have had this entire year; I almost overslept. LOL. I RECOMMEND strongly....I received it one day early.

This bed is nice for the price. I was very hesitant about buying a bed online without trying it first, but after researching the bodipedic line I decided to give it a try. *****The Pros: This bed has caused my fiance to stop snoring completely. I am a very light sleeper - and my fiance's snoring has a tendency to wake me up in the night. Not anymore. It is completely gone. Additionally, you can't feel the other person move. Again, I would wake up whenever my fiance tossed in bed. Not anymore. I can't even tell when he gets up in the morning - the bed stays completely still. Now I haven't had the best sleep results yet, but my fiance has commented several times that he doesn't move throughout the night on this bed. He falls asleep immediately and wakes up in the same position. I wish I could say the same! He absolutely loves this bed, and I'm hoping that with time I will grow to enjoy it too. *****The Cons: I wouldn't say that it's a horrible bed, but it's definitely not what I expected. Like others have written, it is very firm. Much more firm than I imagined it would be. I think the best description I have read on here is that it is like sleeping on "packed snow". It gives a little bit, but it is still pretty hard. The first few nights I barely slept because I was sore all over. The soreness is starting to get better now - or at least I'm starting to get used to it, but I still have mild back pain when I wake up. Something I didn't have before. As suggested by others, I have ordered a 3lb 3-inch topper to place on top of the mattress. Hopefully this will help! If I see a great improvement, I will definitely come back and add to my review. *****Overall, I'd say it's a nice bed for the money, but if you are a sensitive side sleeper like me - you might research other alternatives.
