This air filter is great. The hepaquiet setting is very quiet, supposedly for sleeping time. However I like it on the loudest setting when I'm sleeping to drown out the neighbor noise. I have already noticed a vast improvement in the air quality as well as a shrinking amount of stuff in the vaccuum canister.
I researched air purifiers for weeks, and Blueair products were listed as some of the best purifiers overall. To my surprise, I found one of these top rated purifiers for over $100 less than anywhere else at Overstock.com, so I ordered. The item arrived within days and although the outer box was a bit worse for wear, the purifier was fine and in what appears to be perfect working order. Within a day of having the purifier running, I could see and feel the difference of the air quality ( less dust in the air and I could breath a bit better). So far, this has proven to be a great product at a fantastic price.
