Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. Thanks to prior review which accurately described it as being small and not much of a storage container. The craftmanship is clean and sturdy. We should be able to get a few years use out of it.

picture is deceptive in that the ottoman looks a lot bigger than it really is. Also, note that this is really a denim piece and that light blue streak really is a streak - it's not lighting. It is a cute piece but it's small, ie; short. because it's short it isn't deep enough to really hold enough for storage if you want it to hold anything significant. the top turning over to a tray is a good feature and really is the main reason why we're keeping it. it works for holding tv remotes and game controllers but that's all it will hold. sort of works as a footstool but pretty short for a seat - might work for a 4-5 year old child but too small as a seat for my 9 year old.

I bought two of these ottomans for my boys' room so that they could store toys in something other than plastic bins. While the ottomans were a bit smaller than I anticipated (I am not good with measurements), they are still perfect for the boys. I was amazed when ALL their legos fit in one; the other is being used for special toys they play with every day, as well as the stray item I find on their floor (if you can't find it, look there). What's even better, though, is that the kids love to sit on them, especially when they're putting on their shoes; now, if they need help, I'm not stuck on the floor while dealing with an untied shoe. I'd definitely recommend them.
