Looks great, unfortunaltely crackle finish is actually cracked finish. If you run your fingers along the glaze you will likely get a splinter of glaze in your finger... yes, you will be eating these spinters. Stains with sauces and that is the end of the nice looking plates... Too expensive to ship back. Don't bother.

I received these a week ago. The first mug I took out of the box had a handle that was not attached on the top end. It had been packed that way, and had not been broken in transit. There are also chips on the bowls. Today I was stirring a cup of tea and the bottom simply fell off of another mug in my kitchen. Unbelievable. I would have returned the set, but it is just too heavy.

These plates are beautiful.. and you can't beat the price for cracked glaze. However, the "center ring" that rests on the table is small in ratio to the plates diameter, so therefore cutting steak towards the edges causes the plate to tip easily. Also, wash these dishes right away - any dark sauces will ooze into the cracks in the glaze, and even soaking won't make them fade. They are dishwasher safe, and very thick and heavy plates, but they chip very easily and if you drop it once, it will shatter in a million pieces.

I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival of the dishes. The color is beautiful, they are durable and the plates are oversized which I love. One coffee mug came cracked; that was the only problem.

I bought two sets of these plates and LOVE THEM! These are great! The plates are heavy, and dishwasher safe. Also they don't show marks from utensils scratching on them. Overall a unique set at a very good price.

The color is amazing. I like the thickness of the dishes and the size of the mugs is great. The best part of this product though, is that the dishes are "dishwasher safe".

The plates had a litlle damage around the edges but look nice. Not sure they were the perfect choice since I have children but I like them.
