I love this quilt... Bought it for my guest bed room and it looks wonderful. So far I haven't been disapointed by any of the quilts and bedspreads I've bought at Overstock.com

Received my order very quickly. Looks great but haven't actually put it on bed yet. Looks very well made. Colors are nice but back side is more cream than yellow as described. Great price for king size bedding.

The Blooming Prairie Quilt Set is a great value. The colors were just like they looked on-line. It is true to size for a Queen Size bed. I really like the variety of colors in the squares because it is flexible with many different colored walls. My walls are an aqua/green and it blended very nicely.

This quilt set is beautiful - the pictures do not do justice. There are vaious shades of lavender, greens, yellows, cream, blues, burgundy - colors that will go with virtually any decor. The reverse side is a yellowish/cream background with a floral print in lavender, sage, and light blue. My walls are a warm lavender and really pull the lavender out of this quilt. It's gorgeous on either side. I was worried that the print would look too "country" but it doesn't. Old fashioned? Definitely. The quilting is a beautiful pattern like what you would see on an antique quilt. The weight/quality of this quilt is comparable to the heirloom quilts made by my great grandmother. If you are debating purchasing this, do it - you won't be sorry.Size-wise, I bought a king for my queen bed. I have the type of bed with a wood railing along the side of my bed and I tuck the excess into the wood. In addition, I have the quilt turned so that the longer side goes from head to foot (so I have a lot to turn down). Putting it on the bed this way works well. I was debating between this and a full/queen, so I ordered one in that size and it is on the way. I was planning on returning one, but I have decided that I will keep both, as the full/queen will fit fine (it just won't be as long - probably closer to perfect sized). With pets and kids, it's always nice to have a spare quilt, and I love this one so much that I'm pleased to have 2! In summary, if you're debating between sizes for a queen bed, either queen or king will fit - it's just a matter of deciding how much excess you prefer. The full/queen is a perfect fit and the king will provide a bit extra for turn down or draping over the sides of your bed, but not too much.
