I purchased this set in Dec 2012 as a Christmas gift. After 6 months of normal use, the blade handles are too loose for any further use. I am returning this product and requesting a refund.
This set is amazing. The knives are very sharp and sturdy. The set looks sophisticated and expensive. The only change that I would make is to include cooking shears. You will need to buy those separately.
These utensils feel a bit flimsy but will get the job done for the beginner or occasional cook!
This was the perfect gift for the friend that has almost everything. The set was pleasantly received. My friend does not have a lot of counter space so this set was great.The stainless steel is impressive.Liked the idea that the blades never needs to be sharpen.Not only does the set work well with ease it looks good too!
I wanted pink knives for my cottage style kitchen and it looks like they'll do fine. Honestly, I use my paring knives more than the others but it will be nice to have a long serrated bread knife if I need it. I do NOT like the shiny, tacky clear and black plastic holder, so I purchased a wooden block from Overstock as well. As usual, Overstock shipped very quickly and the price was great because I used 15% off coupon they sent me.
