I purchased this for a garage window. It will not be opened or closed at any time, so I was okay with purchasing a cheap shade. It will serve the purpose.

  • Nice concept but lacks quality

While I like the style and unique features of this product I was disappointed with the quality. The picture shows nice straight panels. Several of the panels in my package were cut crooked so it does not have the finished look I expected. Instructions were not the most straight forward but eventually got there.

  • Be sure to order smaller width size!

Beware these blinds are sized exactly as stated. For example, the 58" width blinds I purchased were exactly 58" without any "allowance" deduction to enable it to fit inside a 58" wide window. There wasn't even enough allowance to accommodate the brackets that came with the blinds. After I got the brackets installed, I had to cut off nearly 3/4" off the end of the blinds using an electric saw and extremely sharp craft scissors before I could force-fit it into the window opening. It made a mess (sawdust and bamboo pieces everywhere). With all the handling required to hang these blinds, the reddish dye from the blinds rubbed onto our hands and then onto the white window frames. I tried to clean the red-stained handprints off the white window frames with scouring power with bleach to no avail. I will have to repaint the window frames. Also important, these blinds offer semi-privacy only.

  • Blackouts at great price

I had quotes for shades for my windows. After reviving from sticker shock I measured for "standard" sizes and found just exactly what I needed at O.CO. Why didn't I start here?? They work very well and the no strings adjustable feature is fabulous. Dogs or kids can't get tangled. Hope sizes I need will be there next time I need new shades.

I purchased these blinds when I first purchased my home 9 months ago. Initially I loved them- they were easy to use, easy to install, looked great and I loved that there was no cord. The fabric on the back has disintegrated, one of the cords broke on two of the three installed (that allows the mechanism to move the blinds up and down) and the swing out arms- designed to raise and lower the blinds sits skewed. Two of the blinds no longer sit level inside the window- these do not hold up in the long run. I will say this- they are in a south facing window, which gets the most sun exposure- and we raise and lower them daily- they were definitely not designed for this type of use- maybe if they were in a north facing window and not raised and lowered- they may have held up (this is why I rated them "fair"). Ultimately, I am dissatisfied with the product and do not recommend them. They will need to be replaced with a better made blind.
