  Bought these for my son who just purchased a house and could not afford to immediately purchase drapes. These are reasonably priced, easy to install, offer privacy and should he purchase drapes later, the shades can be left under and this will make it more energy efficient. I'm happy with this purchase.

  I called OS before ordering because I wanted to have them mounted inside the sliding door frame. They didn't know much about the options. If you want inside mount - order the width to fit exactly the width of your door. I have 70" opening and that's what I got. It's pretty exact, tight fit. The length is from the top of the mount to the bottom of the vertical blind. I was told to order couple inches shorter to allow for the mount and now they are 2.5" off the floor. So if the frame is 78" tall, get 77" lenght and you will be 1" off the floor. You will need to cut down the valance to fit inside the door frame but its easy to do in chop saw. We screwed the valance under the metal brackets holding the blinds and didn't use the plastic brackets provided. It's nice clean look and the valance covers the hardware and doesn't extend past the door trim.

  Great product for the price. Easy to put up and operate. Measurements are very exact. I bought 33.5" width for 34" window and I have little 1/4" gap on each side so fits perfect. I did buy exact width for one window - two 35" blinds for 70" windows and they were too wide. But I just took off the plastic ends from the blinds (inside mount so you can't see it anyway) and cut small piece from the bottom slot and they fit exact and look fine. Easier they returning them. So you can modify them to 1/4 inch or so.

  1 year later and they still look good! They are in a sunroom and get the direct evening sun on them. They also helped in the winter, by blocking the cool air off the lake.
