I have used this blind numerous times in different houses. It is great. Very well made and easy to put up.

We purchased a townhouse 9 months ago, there were no window treatments. The trim in this house is called 'Almond', not white so I didn't want to go with traditional 2 in faux wood white blinds. I purchased different styles of bamboo for 5 rooms! For the windows we hung white pull down shades for privacy and to keep out the light when needed. This style is in my living area, 2 windows and a set of french doors that lead out to the porch. I love the brown tones in them so much.I was concerned going with brown bamboo rather than 2 in blinds they would bring the rooms *down* color wise but they look so nice with the sunlight shining in. The amount of light they let in is perfect, I have gotten so many compliments from my neighbors. I read in the reviews these are not for complete privacy, I agree, they are not! From being outside and at my neighbors townhouse across from ours, I can't really see inside during the day but they offer no privacy at night with any lights on inside. Very glad we have the pull down shades behind them on the windows. I was going to get shears for the french doors but went with lined panels. Highly recommended, I can tell the shear curtains would not have provided much more privacy where I live. I have always had white blinds in homes where we lived, maybe its because we moved to FL, but I love the bamboo as much as the day we put them up! I would not go back to white blinds if they were free. My only mistake was I ordered them an inch too wide. I triple measured the openings of each window but did not notice to take into account the extra wood trim inside the window frame that is about 1 inch deep from the interior wood trim on the walls. If that makes sense. It resulted in us having to do an outside mount instead of inside like I wanted. Big positive on that is I am sure the roll down shades would not have fit as an inside mount if these had not been mounted outside. We still have stuff in storage, I ran across a cream colored shear panel the other day, I draped it across the top of one of the bamboo shades, like a swag, it looked great, it would be perfect if I could find my other shears! All in all, I love them, recommend them if you are wanting to try a different look, shear panels draped across the top looks so good with an outside mount. Shears can be economical, plus you can put up any length or color : ). My kids room has a bright green, found them on sale for $5 each at a department store.

The quality of the shade is excellant at any price. This was the only place I could find a 60 inch shade that was not custom made thus keeping the price down. Shipping was exopedient. The shade operates easily. I am very pleased.

I ordered these blinds for a dining room window. I was somewhat concerned that they would not be formal enough for the room, but behind my drapes, they look great. The wood color (I ordered pecan) is as it was pictured. I had been getting a great deal of afternoon sun through my draperies, and was looking for blinds that would minimize the sun, but not "cheapen" the look of the room. These were the perfect choice. Everyone has commented on how beautiful they are, and I have noticed a huge difference in the temperature of the room in the afternoons...much cooler. They installed easily as well. Wonderful product for the price.

Ordered 60 inch wide blind for our office. This blind was difficult to install,,valance did not snap in properly,,,finally get them up and left string does not open and close them, it just goes up and down, string that is, not blind,,. We have to close them 1 slat at a time by hand...I called, they said, box them up and send them back, after all that, we will leave them, opening and closing by hand. We are dissapointed in this purchase.

We put these blinds in our bay window and it looks so good. I got a quote from a store and they wanted hundreds of dollars for faux wood blinds. I'm happy I checked online first. My only complaint is that I want to put them in other areas of the house, but the shortest length that I found on this website is 60 inches.

we love these, especially the variety of sizes. they come in 1 inch width varieties -- custom blinds cost 5 times more! buy them large within 1 inch of what you need. You can trim the edges with a pair of long sheet metal shears (heavy duty) They filter about 60-70% of incoming light. You will be able to roughly "see out" They create enough restriction of incoming view to keep privacy

When I found 2' inch faux wooden blinds on OS for the price, I could not believe it. I only ordered 2 so I could actually see them, after I received my blinds I ordered for my whole house!! The blinds are BEAUTIFUL and I couldn't believe the Crown Molding that came with my blinds... I have told ALL MY FRIENDS to buy from OS, can't beat these prices ANYWHERE!!! I Love Them :)))

So happy with the blinds they were easy to put up to replace the warped saggy ones that had been there for a while. I had ordered some for other windows from Overstock a few months ago and loved them so I expected these to be just as good. I wasn't disappointed. I will certainly recommend these to others.

Very good quality. They are heavy, and a bit cumbersome to install, but once they're up, they are fantastic!

GREAT TRANSACTION! These blinds are great and much cheaper than we found at the home improvement stores.

I ordered these blinds in a couple of different sizes for our mountain cabin. I agree, they are heavy - so you need a couple of people to hold them when you are ready to install. While they are too long for some of my windows - they look great! It would have been nice to have a shorter length available.

The blinds are a great value. My husband did not have any problems when installing them. They're really rich looking. He's happy with the problem free installation and I'm happy with their looks!

Great looking blinds, with a sturdy and well-designed valance. The blinds look very nice, are well-made, and give the room a nice clean look (mine are in white). My only complaint is I would've preferred a tilt-wand on the left side, vice the pull-strings, to open/close/tilt the blinds. A great value for the price, though.

These blinds are great!! They are just like more expensive ones found at home improvement stores. Great looking, easy to install, and work great. Do note, that "pearl while" is definitely pearlized and creamier, whereas the "snow white" is true white.

Very quick delivery, came very well wrapped and protected, they were beautiful...but sadly I did not measure correctly. Decided to go back to a darker color I already had, but found return simple enough.

This is my first time buying Blinds online so, color-wise I thought I got the right one. Just be aware when they say white it is not the bright white but a little off white. I am still happy, though. The size was perfect and according to my hubby, it was easy installing it. Thank you Overstock for charging me only 1 dollar for shipping.

Just build our new log home high on a hill and wasn't planning on covering the bedroom windows because of the great views, day or night. Privacy was not a problem. But found that the sun coming up at 4 am was ... These blinds blended into the log walls perfectly..not too sterile looking, not too Florida looking and definately doesnt look like an office. Have found that they block light extremely well but let the breeze through when adjusted to do so. The wooden valance was the icing on the cake. Absolutely love these blinds, I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I bought these blinds some time ago and they have proved to be an excellent purchase. They are such a good product that they look like real wood unless you examine them closely. The price was right and they still look like new after many months of use. I would recommend them to anyone who cannot afford the real wood ones. You will be quite pleased.

I purchased these blinds for three windows, two 60", one 41". They were significantly cheaper than anywhere else, and the quality is expectedly low. All my units work just as expected, except one seems to have come off the metal track within the top rail, but it still works just fine. These things are very heavy. I needed the 70" long units, and at 60" wide, they were very heavy. I had to mount mine to the top of the window sill, and I was a little worried when I was pulling the cord to lift the slats. You definitely want to install the middle brace to help hold the weight. I went to the hardware store to get some better anchors, in addition to finding an occasional wood/metal beam to screw into. The included hardware is decent, and I would hesitate to use them in a vertical wall mount application. Overall though, I didn't expect the highest quality blinds at these prices, but am very satisfied. They work as expected to filter out light. I have the snow white versions and they definitely don't block all the light, but they seem to help keep the room cooler when the sun is out.
