Birthday Gift
anthony30  from Harrisburg, PA,  Sep 9, 2009
I bought this for my son for his birthday and he just loves it. It is perfect for an apartment counter. He wanted to eat popcorn with out all the salt and butter that you get from the microwave popcorn. It gets a 5 star rating.Thank you

This product works very well. It takes only about 90 seconds or less to pop up about 3 cups of popcorn. It tastes very good also. I have used mine quite a few times with no major problems. The only 1 problem I have found is that you may have 20 kernels that don't pop, but I find that minumal problem. At least the machine works consistnly without a breakdown. I would recommend this machine,& for the cost it is worth the money.

Blinq popcorn maker
tacorose  from Collegeville, PA,  Aug 9, 2009
Only used the popcorn maker twice so far, both times almost 1/3 of the measured kernels blew through with the popped corn. I measured less on the second try thinking if they had a little more room they'd pop instead of flying out with the popped product. It is a very forceful process, the size and the on/off toggle switch made the popper appealing. I just need to get the un-popped kernel problem solved.Rating the product at this point is really hard to do. I will try contacting the company for some direct input.

They almost got it right!
veerae  from Beverly Hills,  Aug 4, 2009
Well I was super excited to get this popper for my popcorn-obsessed hubby! He was ruining all my pots by making homemade popcorn so after reading all the reviews I thought this would be the solution! Not so much....It literally popped only half of the kernels! We tried to put them back in and it only popped half AGAIN! My hubby who is inventive and can fix anything, noticed that because the kernels are placed so close the the opening where they shoot out once popped, the popped kernels push out many of the unpopped kernels! Get my drift?...CHeck this out though....I called Blinq and they said they never have problems with there products and without even asking for proof of purchase or anything they got my address and said they would send out a new one right away! The problem is, that's not going to fix the design problem with the popper! Oh, and of course it's been 2 weeks and I still don't have the new one anyway....that customer service was way too good to be true! And I just became one of 'those' who spend way too much time writing reviews....but I do hope this helps fellow popcorn-obsessed like my hubby!

Popcorn Maker
excaliber711  from Clarksville, Indiana,  Jul 30, 2009
I enjoy the machine. The only problem is that because the top os high, the popped corn tends to spit out missing the bowl.

This is a quality product. I purchased another hot air popper that did not work at all. This is great. I appreciate the products at Overstock.com. I know that they will be of good quality.Thanks.

Pops great!
brilingav  from North Carolina,  Jul 3, 2009
I was a little wary of buying this based on other ratings of this product on other websites which rated this awful. But something told me to give it a try (and to buy it from where all the good ratings were from which is here on Overstock.com because I wonder if Overstock managed to get the better batch of these poppers). It pops the kernels beautifully and flows into my tall bowl beautifully. I am very satisfied with this product and love the look of it. It looks so much better than the other air popper available. It's a very cute and hip looking popper.

BlinQ Popcorn Maker
sandho  from Fishers, IN,  Jun 20, 2009
I replaced an older popcorn maker with this unit because...The older unit had the on/off switch on thepower cord. It got very hot during operation. The BlinQ has a rocker switch located on the side of the unit which is much safer.

BlinQ Popcorn Airpopper
critterma  from Bozeman MT,  Apr 30, 2009
It's a nice machine--the popcorn pops right up, sometimes it carries whole popcorn kernals into the receiving bowl. If you don't goop them up with oil or butter, you can repop the over-enthusiastic kernals the next time you are popping corn. It takes about 3 minutes start to finish to get a bowl of popped corn, you can eat it dry, butter it and add the salt and cheese, etc. flavors. The popping is done quickly and then how you season it will be up to you. I like it, but can't speak to its durability or workmanship because I've only had it a few weeks and only made 4 batches of popcorn. Ask me again in a year or so.

Popping Good
islandgirl2004  from Grand Island, NY,  Jan 8, 2009
After reading the microwave popcorn packages, I decided to control the amount of salt and butter on my popcorn. An air popper was the best way to do this in my opinion. The included booklet also gives examples of toppings for this delicious treat. I looked for an air corn popper at the usual retail stores, and could not find one under $50. Overstock had the best offer. It is small enough to fit in a cupboard or pantry, but would not look unsightly on a counter top. I'm more than pleased with this product.
