I have not used it as yet so I am not sure. I figure it is something to have for when the little ones come around.

Bought for my hubby as one of his Christmas presents because he loves Slushees so much. It's been used a handful of times & takes up counter space.

Making homemade soup became so much easier now that I have this hand blender. It's easy to use and even easier to clean. It has a lot of power and is extremely durable. My kitchen was incomplete without it.

I can't believe that I had enough "o" points to get this! it is perfect for my needs to make smoothies and daiquiris. it comes with two 'jars' and their 2 corresponding blades. I make the smoothies with the smaller one and it holds about 2cups, the larger 'jar' is about 6 cups. both are marked in cups, liters, milliliters, and oz's. the larger one has a handle on it, and a pour spout. the smaller on doesn't need either. they both have a nice rubber gasket on the bottom of the containers to securely keep the jar in place when in use. the electric pulser head is stupid proof to use also; there is only one way to fit the pulsator blades in place for the thing to work. it is dishwasher safe, I put it on the top tray. if you are looking for an item that will completely crush ice cubes, this is not for you. I usually have a few small ice chips in my drinks. you just pop the blades thru the cap to line up with the electric pulseing head, plug it in, and push the huge button on top of the electric pulsing unit until it is the consistency that you want. it is stupid proof. BEWARE: the blades on the blade units are sharp! be careful where you put in when not in use. mine is on top of the fridge where no one will find them. and rinse and soak the blades and jars as soon as possible, much easier to deal with cleaning them this way. the lid has a tendency to hold onto the mixtures in it's crevices..i find the easiest way to deal with it is to rinse, wipe, dry on paper towels. otherwise, put it all in the dishwasher and forget about it! I love it!

I had an older immersion blender and decided to upgrade. Glad I did. This one is more powerful, and it came in a very nice, hard shell case.

Makes good slushes using just your favorite regular soda. Spout leaked from the first use. Body feels filmsy.

After making an enormous mess every time i tried to make soup (going cup by cup from the pot to the food processor, inconsistent blending etc) I got fed up with the mess and labor and frustration and time it was taking and ordered this hand blender and it has made things so much easier!! It's immensely quieter than the food processor, blends the food in half the time and hardly makes a mess. I only wish that the attachments were dishwasher safe, just to aid my laziness a little further but they wash off easily!

This machine is really great. It is very easy and fun to use. It makes really thick slushees. We did our first batch with Hawaiian Punch, and it froze really thick in under 10 minutes. I can't wait to try different kinds of slushees. Besides the fact that it works great, the other thing we love about it is that it looks so totally cute sitting on the shelf. Goes really great with our Nostalgia Electrics popcorn machine and cotton candy machine. We really love all three, and recommend them highly. We love having "Carnival of Fun" Night at our house, using all three at once. Our household is comprised of two full-grown adults, but you wouldn't know it sometimes! Having way too much fun!!!

The 6 year old family blender died and pressure was on me to find a quality replacement. Saw the great reviews for the Ninja brand and made the purchase. Nice having the single serve and full serve containers. We are probably saving a few pennies on electricity as this blender takes little time to blend the goodies. Less time needed to blend equals less noise in the kitchen. Be careful of blending blades when washing, I got a small cut on day 2 of owning the blender. The main blending container has a drain hole in it at the base, so when placed in dishwasher it does not collect water when turned upside-down. Nice little feature to prevent to pool of water collecting here during wash.
You are what you eat. We've all heard the old adage -- and while there's little chance that eating too much turkey will make you sprout feathers, there is some truth to the oft-repeated saying. It's no secret that there is a strong correlation between your diet and your health. Some foods pack a nutritious punch, offering energy, immunity, and protection against disease. Others can negatively affect your energy and brain in ways you may not have realized. Here are some of the best "power" foods for your body and how to incorporate them into your daily diet. Read More
