  I'm a bit disappointed overall with this blender. Maybe I'm asking too much? I've been using it to make smoothies, and I like them thick -- this blender has problems with that. I keep having to turn it off, open it and shove things down, over and over again. My decades old Hamilton Beach blender handled them better than this one. I do like that the container is glass, but the blade mechanism has to be angled and jiggled just right to fit them back into the container. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

  I didn't even get to try the hand mixer for 5minutes it stopped working once I used it. I bought one for me and one for my sister the motor on both mixers just stopped. This is a horrible product Don't waste your money

  I have used this practically daily in the month I've owned it. It is making a big difference in the intake of fresh fruits and vegetables for my household. So many of my active friends are into juicing and smoothies now and it's a great idea for anyone. I knew that I really needed to enjoy the equipment to keep up on this new habit so I decided to buy the best. Overstock had the lowest price on this and their service is great. I'm glad I splurged. I've been making sauces and dips, soups and smoothies, grinding nuts and beans. Some apples, asparagus, and cantaloupe that we're not looking too appetizing got made into various delicious dishes. Over the very long term I will find this to be economical because it saves me from having to throw away slightly expired produce This has really changed the way we eat, for the healthier!

  I LOVE IT! The KitchenAid KSB560MC Blender is powerful! It crushes ice very well without getting stuck!! I ended up purchasing a second one to give as a wedding present.

  This blender is a powerhouse! It's my first one, so it took a little getting used to. The only complaint I have is that it is easy to accidentally turn it on. After a torn up finger & trip to the emergency room I have learned (the hard way, obviously) to UNPLUG it before removing from the container. It makes very quick work of my soap batters.
